Last Saturday, I went to see my sons final performance of Cats at Lone Peak High School.
I went with the skepticism I commonly do when seeing any production of Andrew Lloyd Webber, performed outside of Broadway. So, being a high school, I had my bar set to potentially "ok"........ with in 15mins of the production I was leaning forward in my chair with my hand up over my mouth shaking my head over and over again in disbelief as I watched EVERY kid on that stage pull EVERYONE into a state of Magic with every note, every gesture and artistic montage of dance and composition of light and human forms. It was such a brilliant show. I wish it could have been shared with all of you. I was so proud of Roman and so happy he was able to have this experience, knowing it binds you to others like family when you create art together like this. #Cats #lonepeak #highschooldrama by @elwonbakly
