Looking for love been gettin em in a bind! The past week has truly been some of the most fun hunting I’ve had in the spring woods. The good Lord has been blessing us way more than we deserve but we’re not complaining. Looking forward to next week when I can share a tree and a sunrise with dad!

@aaron.womack12 and I had an eventful and tough week of bassin on Lake Dardanelle for the @collegiatebass aftco open. 300+ boats we did what we could and scrounged up 19.65 for two day total. That put us at 74th. We had a couple missed opportunities each day that could’ve moved us up the leaderboard but that’s part of it! Headed to Cherokee next week for the mlf event with @coleman_self_ !

Had an awesome time in Canada with my dad, Uncle Jeff, Josh, and Aron. We boated just under, or a little over, 100 fish a day.

The trip was great until the boating accident Josh and Aron had on the last day. Early that morning, the sun blinded them as they came around a point, and they hit a rock.

I remember praying the night before and asking God to show me His presence the next day. He answered that prayer, just not in the way I expected.

Josh and Aron walked away from the accident with dislocated toes, cracked ribs, and plenty of bruises. Dad has worked many boat accidents throughout his career, and I have seen some as well. Most people either don’t make it or suffer serious, life-changing injuries.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Man Upstairs had His hand over them that morning, and I am beyond thankful for that. Moments like these are a reminder of how quickly things can change and how blessed we are.

God is great.

Until next time, Canada. taken in Canada by @elyhunterhagans

Redemption bag‼️ Little over 31lbs on 5 with a 4lber. Crazy 3 hours on the water in the rain. Felt good to lean on some before leaving Tennessee.
