✨Houston Ballet SI ’26 was unforgettable! I made the best memories with the most amazing people and came away with a few lifelong friends. I had the privilege of learning from the most generous ballet masters, who refined every tiny detail, and I was so inspired by such talented, hardworking peers.

This SI absolutely lived up to its reputation. There were definitely moments when I had to push through (and yes, I even kept my cool after a bird pooped on me 🥴😂). I was challenged and stretched but also acknowledged and trusted, and in the end, I wouldn’t change a single thing about this experience! Thank you @houstonballetacademy🩰

I also met the most AMAZING neighbors, did karaoke 😱, and gained even more chosen family—or, as I like to call them, my “Framily”—who went above and beyond to welcome and embrace my family and me into their beautiful community. @marketsquaretower thank you for being my home away from home!🥹

✨Imagine standing in a room where your heroes become real—and they welcome you like family.

This week, I was invited to take company class with the Dance Theatre of Harlem. It was incredible!! The most special part? My Auntie @naikisoki was here as the répétiteur for their production of Firebird. We met when I was just four years old, and she nudged my mom to put me in ballet classes. She became my very first “real” ballet teacher and even took me backstage to meet DTH—and Ingrid Silva—when they came to Charlotte on tour.

Now, almost 12 years later, standing in that same kind of room felt like a dream come full circle. Their kindness, athletistry, and overflowing generosity were beyond anything I could’ve imagined. I left that studio with my heart so full.🩷

Fast forward to last night: witnessing @ingridsilva take her final bow with DTH after 18 years, was pure magic. Seeing her surrounded by so much love from family and friends was such a beautiful reflection of a life poured into others. And as if that moment wasn’t already bright enough, she invited me and my parents to her Final Bow After Party… where I walked into a room filled with excellence.

I got to meet some incredible artists who I look up to so much, like @calvinroyaliii , @aliciamaeholloway_ , @amarsmalls , @ethanwilsonnnnn and @delaneywashington—and the cherry on top? Y’all… I met Misty Copeland (@mistyonpointe )

My heart was so full I couldn’t hold back my tears. I’ll never forget her warmth, her kindness, or the generosity of her time she took with me. Watching her dance is what made me fall in love with ballet, and she still inspires me every day.🥹

Last night, I was reminded… dreams are real, God is in the details, and I’m just getting started. 🌟

✨2025…
A year that held more than I ever dreamed.
You’re gonna be really hard to beat!🥹🙌🏽🤍

From getting into my dream school, to a quinceañera surrounded by family and friends I love so deeply. To traveling to Paris, London, New York, Belize, Mexico, Bahamas and Puerto Rico, to somehow even meeting @badbunnypr 😱.

Reconnecting with old friends, finding my ballet besties, and meeting ballerinas I’ve looked up to for so long… my heart is so full! So much time with my siblings. So much growth. So much joy.

Moving from Charlotte to New York City was scary and exciting all at once, but through every step, I felt God’s hand on everything. His timing, His protection, His love—so clear.

Grateful beyond words. Thank you, 2025. You set the bar high 💫
