Who would’ve thought that simply being baseball moms, sitting on the sidelines cheering for our boys, would turn into a friendship and a bond that no one else could ever touch? ⚾️❤️

Somewhere between the baseball games, endless laughs, tears, crazy moments, and memories, we became so much more than just baseball moms. We became each other’s people.

Through the good days, the hard days, the laughs until we cry, and the moments when life gets overwhelming, we know we always have each other.

Making genuine friendships as adults isn’t always easy, but when you find someone who just gets you, who shows up without being asked, and who stands beside you through it all, you hold on tight.

We may have met because of baseball, but what we’ve built goes so far beyond the field. And that’s something nobody can ever take away from us.

Baseball brought us together, but life made us family. ❤️⚾️

I AM GENUINELY SPEECHLESS.

Today, I came across a post on Facebook Marketplace that absolutely blew my mind.

A random man is selling MEDICATION and “PEPTIDES” in ZIPLOC BAGS, UNLABELED VIALS, and UNMARKED CONTAINERS.

And here’s the kicker…

His most recent sales before this new pharmaceutical business venture? BROKEN-DOWN CARS AND SINGLE TIRES.

So someone PLEASE enlighten me… when did we go from selling used tires to selling substances people are INJECTING INTO THEIR BODIES?!

His “peptides” start at $65. Peptides from legitimate medical providers can start around $150.

Is saving $85 REALLY worth potentially risking your LIFE?!

Do you know what’s in that vial? Where it came from? Whether it’s sterile? Whether it’s even the substance you’re being told it is?

I’m all for saving money, but YOUR HEALTH IS NOT THE PLACE TO BARGAIN SHOP.

This isn’t about competition or pricing. This is about SAFETY.

Just because someone is selling it doesn’t mean it’s safe to inject.

I can honestly say I am SO HAPPY that our family is part of Acreage Baseball! ❤️

There is just something special about being out at those fields, watching the kids play, hearing the laughter, seeing the smiles, and being surrounded by families who are all there for the same reason… OUR KIDS!

I love watching the friendships being made, the kids running around together before and after games, the parents cheering each other’s kids on, and the coaches who give their time to make it all happen.

To me, THIS is what recreational baseball should be about. It’s not about wins and losses, who has the best team, or who is the best player. It’s about kids having FUN, learning the game, building confidence, making friends, and creating memories they’ll never forget.

Some of my favorite moments aren’t even during the games. They’re the little things… hanging out at the fields, laughing with other parents, watching the kids have the time of their lives, and just enjoying being part of something so special.

These are the days our kids will remember, and honestly, so will we as parents. 🥹❤️

I’m so grateful we get to be part of the Acreage Baseball family. There’s nowhere else I’d rather spend our evenings and weekends!

At the end of the day, they’re only little once. Let them play, let them have fun, let them make mistakes, and let them fall in love with baseball! ⚾️ by @elysa_rn

100 pounds lost. A whole new life gained. ❤️💪

If you had told me a few years ago that I would be where I am today, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.

Losing 100 pounds has been one of the biggest accomplishments of my life, but what I’m most proud of isn’t the number on the scale. It’s the person I’ve become along the way.

I went from just wanting to lose weight to genuinely falling in love with taking care of myself. Fitness, movement, eating better, and prioritizing my health are no longer things I feel like I have to do. They’re things I want to do.

And that’s something I never thought I’d say.

This journey has changed so much more than my body. It’s changed my mindset, my confidence, my discipline, and the way I see myself. I’ve learned that showing up for myself isn’t selfish. It’s necessary.

I’m not working out because I hate how my body looks. I’m working out because I finally appreciate everything my body can do.

And while I’m incredibly proud of the 100 pounds I’ve lost, I’m even prouder of the healthy habits, strength, and confidence I’ve gained.

The old me wanted to be skinny. The new me wants to be strong, healthy, happy, and around for a long, long time.

This isn’t a diet anymore. It’s not a temporary goal or a number I’m chasing.

It’s my lifestyle. And I’m never going back. ❤️

Here’s to continuing to grow, getting stronger, and becoming the best version of myself. Not because I have to, but because I finally believe I’m worth the effort.

I truly can’t put into words how grateful I am — to God, to myself for refusing to give up, and to every person who has supported me along this journey. ❤️

At 208 lbs, I was struggling in almost every area of my life. I was sad, stressed, exhausted, unhealthy, and honestly… I didn’t feel like myself anymore.

But the hardest part was knowing I wasn’t showing up for my kids the way I wanted to.

I didn’t just want to lose weight. I wanted my life back. I wanted to be healthier. I wanted more energy. I wanted to feel good in my own skin again. And most importantly, I wanted to know I was doing everything I could to be here for my kids for a very, very long time.

Today, I am 100 lbs lighter, but what I’ve gained means so much more than what I’ve lost.

With the help of life-changing GLP medication, an incredible plan and support from Next LVL IV Infusion, and a whole lot of dedication, consistency, and determination on my part, I completely changed my life.

And I’m proud of myself for saying that.

I’m a better wife.
A better friend.
A more present mom.
And maybe most importantly, I’ve learned how to be a better friend to myself.

I genuinely enjoy life so much more now. I’ve discovered things I never thought would become part of who I am — the gym, taking care of my body, and Pilates (thank you, Ashley Rodriguez! ).

This journey was never just about a number on the scale.

It was about getting ME back.

It was about becoming the woman, wife, and mother I knew was still in there. It was about choosing myself so that I could give the people I love the healthiest, happiest version of me.

I look at where I started and where I am today, and sometimes I still can’t believe it.

100 lbs gone — but I gained my life back.

And knowing that I’m paving the way toward a longer, healthier, happier life with my kiddos

That will always be my greatest accomplishment. by @elysa_rn

It’s interesting how differently a story can be told when people assume no one else knows what happened behind the scenes.

I’ve learned that people will create the version of events that makes them most comfortable. And that’s okay. I don’t feel the need to correct every conversation, defend every decision, or expose everything I know.

Those who know, know.

What will always bother me, though, is watching children pay the price for situations created by adults. Kids deserve better than that. They deserve adults who can communicate, disagree, and still put them first.

As for everything else, I’m comfortable letting time do what it always does.

Because narratives can be carefully constructed. and the TRUTH doesn’t need to be by @elysa_rn

He’s going to kill me for this … but I am so incredibly proud of him!!! @gweisel is TEN YEARS sober today !!!! I am so beyond grateful to have a husband who is present always with his family. I thank god for AA for giving him the opportunity 10 years ago to change his life . I may not have known you then - but I am so happy I know you now.
