Saying goodbye is never easy, and this one is the hardest yet.

Papa you were more than just my grandpa, you were the man who raised me, my biggest supporter, and the brightest joy in my life. You were my person. From preschool tea parties to swim lessons to high school dances and graduations you were there for it all.

Oh how I will miss coming home and waking up to the sound of you making coffee, listening to the stories of your days in the band, and going to every new Star Wars movie released in the theatre.

They say a broken heart is a heart that’s been loved and that couldn’t be more true. I hope you’re proud of the girl you raised. May you rest in pure bliss.
