We are now certified as a ✨️Vacation Rental Design Expert✨️, bringing another area of expertise with Short-Term Rental design! While our work has always lived at the intersection of hospitality and residential design, this certification gave us an even deeper understanding of the unique business model behind STRs — and how design decisions can support the goals of owners, hosts, developers, and property managers. For our STR clients, we focus on design as a business investment, not simply a line item in the furnishing budget.  ✨️ ROI-minded design decisions / We help determine where to invest, where to save, and which design elements will have the greatest impact on perceived value and the guest experience - allowing you to increase your rental prices and occupancy rates. ✨️ Design that supports bookings / Your interior is one of your most powerful marketing tools (and where guests will probably spend the most of their time). We create spaces that photograph beautifully and give potential guests a compelling reason to click, book, and share.  ✨️ Brand-building through the guest experience / The most successful properties create an experience that feels intentional from arrival to checkout. The functional aspects and layout flow are covered early in the process through our standards checklists and design expertise. Then we help you implement the daily rituals and brand touchpoints that help your guests remember how incredible they felt during their stay. ✨️ STR-specific product strategies / We help develop realistic budgets that make sense for the short-term rental business model — balancing the guest experience with smart investment decisions. We research products and materials on cost, durability, and how quickly you can turn over the property for the next guest.  ✨️ Support beyond the design phases / Our clients also receive priority access to my trusted handyman for installations, repairs, maintenance, and construction — helping move projects efficiently from concept to guest ready. If you’re developing, renovating, or managing a short-term rental, I’d love to connect with you about how strategic design can help create a property guests will remember. taken in Denver, Colorado by @elytra_design

Creative people need time to just sit around and do nothing. / / --- Austin Kleon, Steal Like an Artist: 10 Things Nobody Told You About Being Creative And we had an absolutely fabulous night doing just that. . . Women in Design @widdenver creatives x oil painting x wine flight sips, led step by step by the amazing landscape artist Laura Varsafsky @lauravartist at her backyard studio. Magic. Beautiful souls. 🫶 💕 Event sponsor: @theworklifegroup with outdoor furniture vignettes 📸: the lovely @kristinelson WiD Networking Committee @modern_sacred @elytra_design @lauravartist taken in Denver, Colorado by @elytra_design

There’s something so special about getting in a room with a group of women who are ready to show up, try something new, and support each other along the way. A space where you can step out of your comfort zone, let your guard down, be inspired, and have so much fun… the kind of fun where you’re laughing the entire time. That’s exactly what happens on Content Creation Day. To every beautiful woman who showed up yesterday, thank you. You filled the room with energy, courage, and connection. You are food for my soul, and I don’t take that for granted. If you’ve been craving community, confidence on camera, and content that actually feels like you… I would love to have you join us next time. Comment CONTENT and I’ll add you to the waitlist for our next Content Creation Day. by @elytra_design
