“Layered Coexistence”

Inspired by Numen Z33 installation, which encourages public interaction and spatial exploration, I connected multiple layers of fabric using magnets. This method allowed the layers to shift and interact, creating dynamic spaces and evolving spatial dimensions between them.

Core Studio 2 : Psychological Shield

This project is inspired by images of sculptures being carefully protected and wrapped by people. These scenes made me reflect on protection not only as physical preservation, but also as emotional distance and personal space.

Living in a constant state of mobility made me increasingly sensitive to the idea of weight, both physical and emotional.

The transparent bubble structure represents a psychological shield. Inspired by sandbags used for protection, heaviness is replaced with air and a lightweight material suited to a nomadic condition. Inside the bubbles, fragments of fabric are enclosed, representing emotional weight and the attachments that remain even when travelling lightly.

A laser-cut blue tarp slip dress becomes both an intimate self and a portable ground for existence.

This is all I need.

“Layered Coexistence”

Inspired by the Numen Z33 installation, which encourages public interaction and spatial exploration, multiple layers of fabric are connected using magnets. This method allows the layers to shift and interact, creating dynamic spaces and evolving spatial dimensions between them.

To stabilize these forms, collapsible wire structures sourced from a laundry basket are incorporated as a flexible yet supportive framework.

Through this project, the relationship between material, form, and identity is explored investigating how physical forces such as attraction and tension can embody personal and cultural duality.
