always a pleasure, @nacheritagefestival 🤍🤍

as i passed on the crown last night, i have reflected on these past two years and am reminded how truly grateful i am to have been the 44th annual heritage festival queen. i could not have done it without my escort austin, princess bridget, lady scarlett, and the entire royal court by my side. thank you for giving me the chance to represent nacogdoches!!

thank you to my family, the countless volunteers, committee members, and heralds who make this opportunity possible.

queen callie, i could not have dreamed of a better person to pass the crown to. you will represent the festival with grace and poise and i am forever proud of you ❤️

counting my blessings!!

moving my senior year was such a crazy experience, but I truly would not change it for the world. I’m so thankful for the way the Lord placed me exactly where I needed to be and surrounded me with people who welcomed and supported me from the very beginning. this year gave me so many memories, friendships, and moments that I will forever be grateful for, and it reminded me how good God’s plan is even when I cannot fully see it at first.

to my seniors, thank you for being there through every high and low and for becoming some of my very best friends. thank you for making this year so special and for accepting me from day one. to the underclassmen, thank you for stepping up, working hard every single day, and constantly bringing energy, love, and support to this team. getting to be your teammate has meant so much to me.

to my coaches, thank you for pushing me, believing in me, and helping me grow throughout this season. thank you for the countless lessons, encouragement, and time you poured into this team every single day. I’m so grateful for everything you have done for me both on and off the field.

thank you to my family for every hour spent driving me to practices and tournaments, every sacrifice, every pep talk, every prayer, and every moment of support along the way. thank you for helping me become not only a better player, but a better person.

thank you to the Central Heights community for always supporting us, believing in us, and showing up for us all season long. your support meant more than you know.

most importantly, thank you to the Lord for blessing me with the ability and opportunity to play the game I love. my biggest goal through softball has always been to reflect His light and love in the way I play, lead, and treat others. no matter where this sport takes me, all glory will always be His.
