🏅4th Open Class B (3 spots from a pro card!)

we did it!! this rookie amateur season, my goal was simply to get some stage practice and hopefully qualify for a national show in the meantime. after accomplishing that goal twice, i made my national debut this weekend at the NPC North Americans in Pittsburgh - a place that holds deep roots for me as my father was born and raised in the steel city

this season was a dream start to finish. coming in 4th out of a very competitive class of 26 women is an incredible feeling. all of us work tirelessly and sacrifice so much to get onto that stage, and boy did these other women bring on the heat!! ❤️‍🔥

what's next? time for an off season! feedback overall this season has been build a little more muscle density, but also that this division is the right one for me - and i sure as hell agree!! for now, i'll be taking the next 6 months or so to grow before stepping back onto the national stage in early 2027

time to get back to work and cook up for next year!! 🫡

i've said it in every other caption, but words cannot truly capture my thanks and appreciation for my coach, @fitgalmindy , who has worked side by side with me since January to make this dream a reality. i may have been the one physically doing the work, but i could never have gone this far without her guidance! love you times a MILLION mindy!🤩💖

and last, but certainly far from least, i want to give my thanks to my husband @__jakedillon , who has been my rock for the last 5 1/2 years, but especially on this bodybuilding journey. he's seen my high and lows, dealt with my hanger, spent countless hours (and dollars) traveling to support me at these shows. he's been blinded by my ring light at the crack ass of dawn, shaved my back more than most husbands probably have to do for their wives (LOL), and has never wavered in his support for me as i chase my dreams. i am eternally grateful to do this life with him🤍

and we are on a roll! i cannot even believe i have won back to back shows in my first season😭i have doubted myself for so long, and never felt like i found a place where i truly belong. i am so grateful for the sport of bodybuilding and the feeling of home it has brought me. i can't truly describe this feeling or the deep and profound gratitude i have for this sport, every athlete, and every individual who make these shows a reality.

it is so humbling to step on a stage with others who have also given so much to be there.

and with that being said...

onto nationals!! i am so excited to be taking my first attempt at my pro card this September, something i once thought was a wild dream.

i have endless thanks to my coach, @fitgalmindy , my husband @__jakedillon and my amazing family and friends who have made this journey that much sweeter🤍

one more dance to end the season!💃🏻

Celebrating Fit Model coaching client @em.slomiak for her amazing placing at NPC North American on September 4th! I am honored to run her training, nutrition, posing, and contest prep into this and two previous shows.

Emily’s progress is something to make note of. She began online with me in January. She worked the plan, checked in routinely, and was moving along nicely in the process.

She was making such excellent progress, so much so that we actually added a show to her line-up, getting her on stage in June as her launch vs. the original August date we had planned. She did 2 shows, winning her classes AND the Fit Model Overalls at BOTH events! 🏆🏆

Show no. ✌️, the @npc_battleroyaleamericanheroes, awarded her an entry to a national level, pro-qualifier in 2026. So she took the opportunity to go to Pittsburgh on 9.4. We figured it would be a good idea to obtain stage time there and get the feedback since she was ready.

We knew she fared well at smaller shows at the local and regional level. But how would she do at the national level? Only getting ON stage there would tell!

Emily did just that and ended up with a 4th place of 23 athletes at NPC North American in Fit Model Open B. I was there in person and was able to take it all in….what a blessing to me!

We together got feedback IN person from the head judge and he wants her to grow. In his words, “She’s just a baby and needs more density!” Time….We can do that!

Emily has the structure for this division and moves well on stage. With more time in the entire process and additional seasons to grow, she will be even more full steam ahead!

What a wonderful first season she had. She lives the lifestyle, trusts the process, has amazing family support, and is willing to patiently do the work. That’s a proven recipe of success!

I’m super proud of her and honored to come alongside her on this exciting journey! 👏

One of the big reasons this weekend was so special was because it launched with supporting 3 clients on Friday at NPC North Americans in Pittsburgh. 2 were posing clients and @em.slomiak here is a coaching client, meaning she worked with me on nutrition, training, prep and posing for this show (and 2 prior!)

She earned an entry to this by winning the Fit Model Overall at @npc_battleroyaleamericanheroes on August 1. She came here to get the experience….ready to learn!

After “first looks” in Fit Model Open B (23 athletes), each competitor did a solo presentation. Emily and I practiced that via Facetime, plus all the practice she did on her own.

She stumbled a bit as she transitioned to the back. I had not seen her do that before, but she recovered it well. Little did I know, I would do the SAME thing 2 days later at the exact place as well. <See the clips on this post!>

Practice-practice-practice and expect the unexpected. We all come upon hiccups in flooring joints at some point and have to stay composed and move forward. Hooray us for recovering it!

Emily then made the coveted first callouts. She briskly walked to center stage and was held there thru a few of the transitions. I was shaking with excitement as her very proud coach!

She ended up being moved over and came home with a solid 4th place finish of 23 athletes. Top 5 for her first national-level show and just 3 spots away from a Pro card….we could not be happier with this outcome!

I want to note how much I enjoyed seeing Emily’s family support her on this competition journey. Her Mom and Dad were there and her husband was heard yelling, “That’s my wife!” Additionally, they made adorable shirts supporting her and that truly all warms my heart.

Given her strong support system, how she executes so well, and her natural ability to flourish on stage, I foresee Emily going very far in this sport. She’s also a great mix of patient and willing to do the work, the correct recipe for this process!

She’s a gem and I’m honored to do this journey with her. More stage shots will be shared once we get them from the photog...stay tuned! ❤️

Emily is a Fit Model coaching client who has been with me since January 2026. She just competed in the August 1, 2026 “NPC Battle Royale” in Virginia. I am honored to report she is the Overall Fit Model winner of this show, while also having won the Overall at her first show in June!

She was originally aiming for this show as her first stop when we began coaching in the winter. As I got to know her body, she was leaning down quite nicely and I encouraged her to sign up for an earlier show. That she did on June 14 and then this was her second show.

As a coaching client, she works with me on all variables. I run her training, nutrition and her posing. In this industry that’s a wise decision and I commend her for executing the consistency of that process!

The additional good news is that for winning the Overall title, Emily earned a free entry from this promoter to “NPC North Americans”. This is a pro-qualifier and she is eager to experience that level of the sport.

We put that as her next stop on the calendar. She will be taking to the national-level stage in Pittsburgh in just 2 weeks on Friday, September 4!

I as her Coach will be there with her (and 2 other posing clients!) because I had already planned to be at that event. Coincidentally, it’s also where I’m making my Pro debut on Sunday, September 6, so my heart cannot wait to take in this FULL experience, both as a Coach and a competitor!

Emily is a very diligent athlete. She is humble, consistent, and as I mentioned before, in her check-ins she always ends it with, “Let me know if you need anything else from me!” She communicates very well, asks questions, and is very coachable.

As a young lady in her 20s, these character traits will take her far in any life endeavor she chooses. I’m very proud of her, both in how amazing she looks, but more so in the person she is! ❤️
