Spread LIGHT
🇳🇴
Be great, and be good
POSTS STORIES REELS
If there’s one thing I hope to be known for, it’s LIGHT. When others think of me, I would want the concept of light to be first on their mind. When others are in my presence, I hope they feel that light penetrate their soul, inspired to draw nearer to its source. My desire is that they feel sincerely cared for, moved by a deep sense of courage, & enlightened with optimism towards life - and all its parts. I want my countenance to radiate love, enthusiasm, & brightness of hope. I *imperfectly* strive for light in all I speak, listen to, post, & view (both in terms of seeking as well as creating). Light to me brings confidence, awareness, & burning passion. It’s enlivening, clarifying, & invigorating. This idea or concept of what light truly is & what it has the power to do has been filling my mind for years now. And though I’m far from perfect & fall into many dim moments, I consciously seek to reflect, radiate, & illuminate the Light that IS perfect. Everlasting. And never dimming. That Light, of course, is Christ. The Light of the world. The Son of God. Despite the darkening world we live in, light can be found! I have found it in temples, dedicated learning environments, music, family, friendship, service, children, early mornings, modern day revelation, church, scripture, solidarity, culture, mountains, growth zones, & new beginnings. It’s my greatest desire that I can receive that light, continue in it, & grow “brighter and brighter until that perfect day” (D&C 50:24). by @em.tew

Some recent flicks, enjoy! 📸💋👩🏼‍🍳 • • • A few weeks ago, I went to lunch with my aunt (who happens to be my boss) and cousin. It was in the middle of some big personal and business decisions/waiting games that had been dragging and looming large. On the drive back, my aunt made the comment how cool it is that even in the midst of ambiguity, daunting decisions, or even chaos, you can still go out and have a good lunch and enjoy moments with people you love. “You can still have a good lunch.” I’ve thought about that line several times since. About how sometimes I get caught in the noise of the lack and the longing. Sometimes I forget to sit in the moment—with the people I’m with—and just appreciate it. At lunch that day, the questions weren’t answered. The decisions weren’t made. But we talked, we laughed, and we shared great food and conversation. Since then, some decisions have been made. Others are still in the works. Some thoughts are settled. Others are still evolving. But what I’m learning is how beautiful and thrilling and interesting the messy middle can be when you spend time focusing on all there is to love, and sometimes you just need a good lunch. Here’s my evidence🥰🥰 by @em.tew

Mongolia (+ Japan) • HXP • 2025 #CovenantConfidence 🇲🇳 It’s hard to put into words the feeling I get on these trips. My recent journal entry says it best: I believe in a God who always keeps His promises. I believe in a God who turns stumbling blocks into stepping stones. Ordinary stones into vessels of light. Ordinary people into gods and goddesses. I believe in a God who feeds thousands with five loaves and two fishes. Who provides manna in the wilderness. And flowing water out of rocks. I believe in a God who rejoices when I rejoice and weeps when I weep. One who loves, knows, sees, and is greater ! and deeper ! than I can even begin to muster to understand. I believe in a God who labors in the vineyard, and who invites me to labor with Him. One who waters and helps tenderly grow, and one who wisely and carefully prunes. I believe in a God who gives abundantly, and who invites me to give too. A God who has compassion, who makes whole, provides peace, raises up friends, completes full circles, makes and keeps promises, cares about details, listens to unsaid prayers, and who always outdoes Himself. I believe in a God who walks with us, runs to us, sits by us, and always shows up. I believe in an 11th hour, fourth-floor-last-door kind of God, who loves effort and thereby enables transformation. I believe in a God who knows me perfectly, who loves me infinitely, and wants the very best things for me—and who is bringing them about in His own perfect timing. I believe in a God who doesn’t cut corners. Who fulfills dreams. Who gives life and light and hope to all things. A God who is just that: a God. My God. Thank you for another year, @hxp.humanitarianexperience ❤️ by @em.tew

This has been a goal of mine for yeeears, and after ankle surgery, knee issues, and a good amount of prayers & PT, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!
