Nearly 30 hours on a plane seemed like a good time to look through some time spent with the dolphins. I don't seem to post much from my much loved time in and on the ocean 🥰🌊

Nothing compares to the feeling of flying underwater surrounded by a whirlpool of inquisitive dolphins. I feel very lucky to have been able to experience and share that over the past few months!! Pretty good office and work mates! by @em_j_nova

Valentine's day hike with the amazing @cristinalbarra .. still having epic adventures in this incredible country together ❤

A last minute decision to explore Nelson Lakes after a week of rainy and cloudy weather - and so glad we made it!! Just a sequence of awesome decisions, right from the veggie pie through to the naked swims in chilly tarns, slightly tipsy navigating back to the tent and lying staring at the stars after a delicious feed and wine on the ridgeline.. we sure were rewarded with stunner sunset, sunrise, stars and reflections!

So grateful to have such awesome adventures and the best of friends to share them with!! by @em_j_nova

Sometimes cramming in as much as humanly possible pays off.. the last few days have been a whirlwind of adventure and wildlife!

Weekend solo hike and bivvy on the Lewis tops and up 'The Apprentice', swimming in alpine lakes and watching one of the most insane sunsets and sunrises over the mountains... getting back just in time to paddleboard with orca @danispencer_ ! Then quick overnight to Fyffe hut for another epic sunrise with awesome company and running down in time for work with those incredible dusky dolphins. And just throw in a couple of other awesome sunsets by the water.

Mt Brown's beautiful orange alpine hut adventure with views over snow-capped mountains, glassy Lake Kaniere and the west coast.

Super lucky to enjoy a clear morning sunrise and a broken spectre... the angel that guided us back down via a slightly sketchy Styx river route... large slips had taken out big chunks of the old track meaning some tough river crossings!!

And some encounters with cheeky kea battling the wind, whio on the turquoise river and some fuzzy weka chicks!! 🦜🦆🐥 taken in Mt Brown hut by @em_j_nova

Epic first time in Fiordland for the beautiful but tough kayak and tramping mission to George Sound. Amazing sunlit waterfalls, impressive ridge lines, perfect swimming holes, dodgy wire bridges and some awesome people to share it with.. despite best attempts to lose me in the mud 😎

Alpine hut adventures!

1-5: Mueller Hut and Hooker Valley in Mount Cook National Park! Beautiful snowy peaks and taste of winter mountaineering fun.. complete with a swim in glacial lake with a view of Mt Cook herself! @cristinalbarra

6-10: Liverpool hut in the beautiful Matukituki valley of Mount Aspiring National Park. Crystal blue rivers, views of Rob Roy Glacier and Mount Aspiring and cooking curry with a view of snow and stars!! @johannavicary took the awesome milky way shot!

Just a whole lot of very beautiful beaches.. and a hella lotta mud!
8 days trekking round the north-west circuit of Stewart Island 30km to the south of New Zealand. Where kiwis run/waddle wild, where there are sunrises and sunsets you could only dream of, and where you have to wade through nearly knee deep mud to get to them! Worth every sand fly bite and blunt axe effort! Thanks @cristinalbarra for going crazy in the wilderness with me!
We save the poems and verses for another day
