Story time: When I first started started covering political events, myself and @emmie_the_creator were instructed to go and eat in a particular room after shooting a high level political function. Moments after we got to the dining area, we were asked to get up and leave the room that “how can ordinary photographers enter here to eat”. I wanted the ground to open up swallow meeeee and my colleague was already walking out to find the shuttle that would take us to our hotel so we could edit, hopefully we’d eat there. It took the intervention of a thoughtful protocol member to draw the attention of the actual person who had invited us to cover that event who then gave the instruction that myself and my colleague Emmie should come in and get our food. I’ve seen this happen on multiple occasions that’s why I don’t even bother with whoever was catering at an event and I make alternative plans for myself and my staff. The only event organizer who I encountered during my freelancing phase that would feed you till you beg her to stop is @jezzevents_ and God will bless her for always looking out for all her staff. If you’re a media person have you faced something similar? #mediagirl #relatable #netflixdocumentary #netflixdocumentarytrend by @emamoves

Over the weekend I joined My Boss His Excellency @pastorumoeno and The Deputy Governor @seyakenyi at the inauguration of the New Globus Bank layout at Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. This bank has been instrumental to building the digital infrastructure that makes Akwa Ibom state one of the best states in Nigeria for start ups and tech entrepreneurs. It was remarkable to witness the expansion and growth they have achieved in just a few years since their operations began in Uyo. We are proud as Akwaibomites to have a state where institutions feel at home and have the environment to expand and grow❤️ taken in Sir Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, Akwaibom State by @emamoves
