Marking the end of another lap around the sun and I can’t help but be grateful for this past chapter.

The one where I learnt ME.
The one where I found rhythm.
The one where I said yes to adventure.
The one where I realised I’d found the LOML.
The one where I happily said my biggest “Yes” yet.
The one where I thrived .

Cheers to an amazing year and everyone who made it memorable, cheers to Me and cheers to many more beautiful chapters and phases to come 🥰

On 10th June 2026 I woke up in Nice and realised there was no better place to ask you to marry me.

I didn’t have a ring, so I spent the morning running around every jewellers in Nice I could find, but they were closed or didn’t have the ring you deserved.

Happily you said “I do” with a stand-in ring and a promise.

So I was very happy yesterday to fulfil that promise with a real ring, which in itself is a promise.

A promise that I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to make you as happy as you make me, Maureen. taken in Manchester, United Kingdom by @emaycie
