✨ Student Teacher of the Day Spotlight: Marleigh ✨

A huge congratulations to our Student Teacher of the Day, Marleigh! 👏🏾💕

Marleigh is our second longest-standing student since the beginning of the Silk Me Kids Academy journey. Through her commitment, growth, and willingness to learn, she has earned the opportunity to serve as a Student Intern and proudly stepped into the role of Student Teacher of the Day.

Today, Marleigh led our class in teaching Flat Ironing with support from one of our licensed instructors, demonstrating both technical skill and confidence in front of her peers.

At Silk Me Kids Academy, we intentionally create opportunities like this because we believe beauty education is about more than mastering techniques. Our Student Teacher of the Day program is designed to develop leadership, strengthen public speaking skills, build confidence, and prepare our students to effectively communicate, mentor, and work alongside others in a professional environment.

Watching Marleigh continue to grow from a student into a leader has been an incredible journey, and we’re so proud of all she has accomplished. The future is bright, and this is only the beginning! 💕✨

Today, my baby picked the Sculpture Garden in City Park for me to do a mini Mother’s Day photoshoot! She was the photographer and the director telling me where to stand and what to do (lol)! It was super fun and she got some great shots! Thank you Pua! You’re a huge part of the reason I live an abundant life!! 🫶🏾 taken in NOMA's Besthoff Sculpture Garden by @embeddedsmile
