This new EP is the culmination of a lot of change in our journey as a band. Hearing the evolution of our styles and playing in general from the first EP to this one is staggering as we continue to find what makes this project unique.

Lyrically, I drew as I often do from an extremely personal point of view. Harnessing the fucked up voice inside my head, wrestling these thoughts into creative expression is something that has kept me sane for 20+ years. To quote an inspiration for this record “Heaven sent relief for those of us who still believe In the therapy and the merit of screaming”

Musically, we wanted to expand on our writing and dynamics. Pushing ourselves to try new things on go places we haven’t.

We’re all very excited with how Cursive came together and how it turned out.

Thank you for giving us the 22 odd minutes of your time, for feeling whatever this music makes you feel, and for being a part of the community we call home.

There is much more to come. Stay tuned.

Special thanks to @claytonvaughndesign @nico_beninato @nickloiacono @perezbanus @sigmacaldera @vitriolwarfare @joshpiersonphotofilm @seekandstrikeofficial

“Failed Suicide Pact” by Emberthrone!🥁
Link in the bio for the full video. 🔗
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve dropped any sort of play-through, but we have a bunch of play-throughs coming down the pipeline.

Big thanks to them for letting me rip a play through of one of my favorite songs from their latest EP.

S/o to @fern_like_the_plant for the filming, production, lighting and video edits.
And s/o to @nickloiacono as always for the facility, mixing and touch-ups to the audio.
Cheers!

“Our insane friends over at @mountaintigerrunning were kind enough to use a song of ours in their latest promo video.

If you’re into beer, tattoos and running until your legs fall off in the mountains, give these guys a follow” by @emberthrone

The response to Cursive has been overwhelming. Thank you all so much for checking it out over the weekend!

In a world where a bands success is determined by shitty robots, be a real dude and show your friends our tunes. Word of mouth is still the best way to support your favorite bands. <3

We have much more to show you, very soon.
