meet 黒武士 (Kurobushi)
aka Clove aka ¡CLOBE!

adopted this spring at two years old, this itty bitty nugget is the definition of spunk and a serial purraholic…just don’t get on her bad side… #MEOW <imagine I’m doing the “rawr” pose>
.
.
.
her #beaniebaby past life bio is as follows:
meet Maud, a sloppy, middle-aged, gravelly-voiced, chain smoking broad with a real zest both for life and for malt liquor from her favorite local dive bars.
.
.
.
her current interests include:
~snuggling with the general vibe of “well I’m adorable so what if there’s a lil poop I accidentally got on my paws”
~scratching the air with her right arm specifically (because ghosts…definitely ghosts)
~throwing around little fake mice like she’s practicing for a WWE fight (I’d watch it)
~subtly but persistently annoying her brother/boyfriend (too early to tell…) to the point of general insanity (anyone know some good anger management classes for cats?)
.
.
.
note: her name means “black samurai”…and also sounds like “Clove,” which Cam insisted we keep…

What a roller coaster of a ride this year has been - full of some of the more intense moments of my life.

I’ve witnessed my family and friends going through things they should just never have to go through. I’ve been in a holding pattern all year wondering where my next paycheck was going to come from. I’ve navigated through some wild relationship dynamics. I’ve allowed the culmination of these things to deeply affect me.

But, wherever there is darkness, so too is there light.

I’ve been kept on at CRS a full year after my project ended because of several truly incredible people (and my can-do [anything] attitude). I’ve had the opportunity to travel to some crazy cool places for work. I’ve worked my 🍑 off to get several job offers and land a job working for an agency with a mission that aligns with my own.

I’ve made one of the best friends a lady could ask for and so many others I can’t wait to grow. I’ve been so incredibly supported by existing family and friends. I’ve learned how to set healthy boundaries and, after 34 years, how to have self-respect. I’ve grown new skill sets in my personal (eg knitting, crocheting) and professional (eg data analysis, budget/finance stuff) life. I’ve done some great hiking. I’ve started working out (on occasion…) and going to concerts again. I’ve started coming out of a four year cocoon of depression and regaining my bubbliness/quirkiness/me-ness.

I know I don’t message enough or keep in touch. Even if I don’t, please know for damn sure I’m thinking of you and am always here if you need me (maybe just call cuz grandma hates texting) and I FREAKING LOVE YOU 💗🕺🌸✨

Dear 2025, I see what you’re baking up for me and man oh mannnn does it look delicious. LET US EAT CAKE!! 🍰 by @emblazonedvibration

Because the world could always use a little more peace and friendship 🕊️

Life is about the friends - big and small, two-footed, four-footed, or otherwise - that you meet along the way. My mission in life is to hear and understand as many diverse perspectives as I can, as that is true enlightenment.

I’m thus so honored and delighted to announce that I’ll be starting with the Peace Corps at the end of the year, working on the agency’s strategic planning to advance their mission of promoting peace and friendship through intercultural understanding and community-based development. by @emblazonedvibration
