In my feels Friday🤦🏽‍♀️🥺
Feelings are temporary but they do matter and it is important to allow ourselves to sit in those emotions whenever they re-surface. I say re-surface because they WILL come back because progress is non-linear.

Self care Sunday📍

2025, all year, I didn’t retain a single millimeter of growth AND hair is ALWAYS growing out of the scalp but we tend to neglect the oldest parts of our strands and end up losing the progress.

I thought I was protecting my strands but the hairstyles weren’t helping. Then in September I had a salon visit🤦🏽‍♀️😭 that ruined the lil I had (I was reminded of why I do my own hair by myself).

October I decided to leave the extensions and use simple styles that protect my ends. And the journey pivoted drastically🥰🫣😍

EMBODY YOUR HAIR

#hair #hairgrowth #afrohair #fyp vira by @embodybydeboh

Let’s talk hair 🧡🧡🧡
Ive been learning to embody my own hair just as God placed it on my scalp and the last 6 months of not wearing artificial hair, such as braids, extensions, weaves or wigs (Non of these are bad by the way) has taught me so much about my own natural hair.
I’m here to share my experiences and hopefully inspire someone to embody their own hair and embrace the beauty of it.

Flexibility Fridays
One of the most valuable squats I was exposed to during my stay in China was this goblet

Great for hip opening and releasing lower back tension immediately🤸🏽‍♀️
Combining it into a bootstrap adds the hamstring stretch creating an amazing mobility move if one sits at a desk all day or needs a quick full body deep stretch📍

The best part about having both fitness and flexibility is the ability to move lightly in your own body.
