Some week old sourdough that I didn’t think would stretch out as much as it did. Par baked then cooked longer than usual with the fire as low as possible while the stone was at 750F for a crisper undercarriage. Finished with roasted pumpkin seed oil by @embolism21

These steady eddie dry selvage have seen better days. Probably didn’t help that I wore them for 3 years before washing. Brought them with me to Japan to try to get them rewoven but they needed more than 2 weeks so looked for the same type of service here and found Dr. Denim out in Mississauga. Great guy and had lots of fun chatting about denim. The history of shrink to fit selvage is so fascinating to me. I’m not as fanatical nowadays as I once was but these jeans hold a lot of history. Glad that they will be around a little longer thanks to Frank. Kudos to you sir! https://doctordenim.ca/

Sakura season in Japan feels like something to hold gently. The crowds quiet, the noise drifts, and the blossoms ask you to slow down and stay a little longer.

You know they will be gone almost as soon as they arrive. Maybe that is why every glance upward feels important. Every petal, every quiet moment, something to notice, something to cherish.

For a few brief days, everything feels softer, and you feel grateful to have captured even a small piece of it. 🌸 by @embolism21
