“I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it’s true I’m here, and I’m just as strange as you” -Frida Kahlo🌹

This beautiful family of 9 are my dear friends in Gaza. They are so strong and precious to me, and they desperately need your help right now. Ahmed is 9 years old and his best friend is his cat Baklawa who is critically ill. Baklava has been a miracle of hope, love, and comfort amid endless pain and genocide. Please donate and/or share this with friends and family.

From the eldest daughter, Sondos, 23 years old: “When the war started, I was in my second year of nursing school. We lost our home in Rafah; our neighbors’ house was shelled and they were all killed—the hardest was the killing of my uncle and cousins. My father suffers from high blood pressure, and my mother is afflicted with kidney stones; she needs surgery in Egypt, but it has been postponed due to the war. She frequently falls ill and suffers.”

My heart is with them right now as their miracle kitty is hanging onto life by a thread. It would make my year if you donated to this family <3 there is no work there to make any money, so every tiny donation means everything. Thank you in advance by @embrocat
