ghost forest (missing), 2026, oil and glimmer on canvas, 70 x 90 cm . as well as on slides 2-8, some impressions of our exhibition "TWOFOLD II: 인연 Inyeon" currently on view at @seohaemuseum in Seosan, Korea. The exhibition, part of an ongoing exchange initiated by @eunjoo.shin1, features work by @taegoongjung @eunjoo.shin1 @tatianaurban_studio @bel_friede @studio_christinakral @emc_collard @sjyang65 @yhyibun @ziin.ceo and Hyunju Lee and is still on view this weekend! . At the heart of the exhibition project lies the desire to find unifying gestures through contemporary art practices, also with a view to historical and ongoing divisions in Germany and Korea. My piece "ghost forest (missing)" looks at empty space and the notion of something removed - it was made in response to Eun-Joo's exhibition concept. . Photos by @studio_christinakral @tatianaurban_studio and me . Thank you to our sponsors @hmwk_hessen , Kulturamt der Stadt Frankfurt am Main & Frauenreferat Frankfurt, who have helped make this exhibition series, started in Frankfurt at @komet_k_ in September 2026, possible by @emc_collard

shaking petals and leaves (2023/26), gouache on paper, 24 x 30 cm, drawing for animation (part I of II) now on view as part TWOFOLD: Inyeon (인연) at @seohaemuseum . TWOFOLD is an artistic exchange between Germany and Korea initiated by @eunjoo.shin1 . On the occasion of her 30th anniversary year of living and working in Germany, the artist invited colleagues from the @fra_nkstern painter’s network to organize a series of exhibitions together in Frankfurt am Main, Seoul and Seosan. The resulting project comprises two exhibitions in Germany and three in Korea over the years 2026-2027, and aims to establish a sustainable, coequal artistic exchange between the FRANK* network and Korean artists from the megacity and the countryside. It hopes to connect with audiences both through the artworks presented, which span distinct and varied approaches to questions of memory, identity, belonging, place and social change, as well as participatory exhibition formats. At the heart of the project lies the desire to find unifying gestures through contemporary art practices, also with a view to historical and ongoing divisions in Germany and Korea. by @emc_collard
