It’s a bittersweet (mostly sweet) day. Saying goodbye to San Diego, finally. Can’t help but look back and be grateful for the struggle.

The last 3 years, specifically the last year and a half, have been the most challenging and difficult times I have ever been through. There were so many times where I counted myself out and wanted to give up. Thankfully, the right people in my life were there when I needed them most (you know who you are). My parents, friends, family, coworkers, former coworkers, and peers all rallied behind me and gave me the push I needed. All I can say to anyone who has been there for me is thank you. Through it all, I’m so proud of myself for the man I am today.

For anyone out there that is struggling and feeling like they’re losing a battle, I urge you to speak up. I waited far too long to do so but I am so happy that I did. You do not have to get through life alone.

Don’t ever let anyone dim your light and keep pushing forward. by @emceeefried
