Big Thanks to @supamanhiphop for carving time out for the students at Riverside. He was on a 12 day run but added it none the less… 🫡🫡 Thanks to @clarene84 for allowing me to bring the production up to the level our youth deserve. (s/o @prestigeeventok) @cyarholar brought his @evergreen_td training gems to the youth. It’s fun to just set up and DJ, but I love getting to mold and shape an event behind the scenes and then in front. We worked hard on making sure students could recognize some of the warning signs when mental / emotional challenges become critical. How to recognize them in others and ourselves. Then some things we can do to help make it to another day! Great to see @dakotawahkinney, wish we could have got a pic. Can’t wait to see his footage! Two min and 58 seconds of @santafeindianmarket & @swaianativefashion (Sorry for the long post, but I gotta give out some flowers to some folks while they can smell them!) Thankful to get to set vibes at the “Get Indigenous Film Festival night with 3 x Champion Hoop Dancer @enriquez.josiah . I was also overseeing the Fashion Show VIP Lounge & Music Supervisor for @stevenpauljudd 🫡🎧 It was so dope to get to be part of this! SPJ & I go back to the 90’s. Believe it or not we were both on an episode of “America’s’ Most Wanted”. 😳 (don’t worry, we were actors, not actually “wanted by the law”) 😂😂 But, getting to see my bro, grow into his art & story telling over the years is dope! 💐 His Fashion Show set was dope cross section of so many parts of his art coming together! He rolled his art into a brand with @ntvsclothing & design for @fahertybrand & (coming soon) @nike N7. Seeing this young actor on a TV reenactment grow to dressing actor @zahnmcclarnon from @darkwindsamc (which SPJ wrote and directed for) is special! My goal wasn’t to DJ his set, but to score a soundtrack to this full circle moment! Honored to get to!🫡🎧 Special S/O to @breakawaay the resident DJ for SWAIA. Sometimes DJs can get territorial, but not him. Always an honor to work with dope DJ’s especially him. Dude does a lot for that production, I hope they appreciate all he does! Speaking of dope DJ’s @djelementaz was pretty much the resident after party DJ each night at @boxcar.santafe. Crushed it! (Sorry I didn’t get footage) Thankful also to get a last min request to set up with @indigenoushouse for a couple vibe checks. Got to see some of the homies there. Met some inspiring creative natives there! But really appreciate @jrs_tmnt for all her hard work behind the scenes knitting together so many different fabrics of indigenous communities into something that can warm us all! 🫡🫡 A small group of dedicated people do so much, to impact so many! Steven Paul Judd Closes the Show with a Bang 💥 @juddstevenpaul (Kiowa/Choctaw) brought the fireworks to the sold-out SWAIA Native Fashion Show at the 104th Santa Fe Indian Market to an unforgettable close. 🎉 Steven closed out the evening in true showstopper fashion, bringing surprise special guests to the runway — hoop dancers Eric Michael Hernandez @ericmichael31 and James Jones @NotoriousCree and @emceeone on the mix — for a finale that had the whole room on its feet. 🪶✨ Steven delivered pieces from his new collaborations with @ntvsclothing @Nike #N7 @fahertybrand and @ginew_usa - a collection rooted in Indigenous storytelling, humor, and contemporary style. Today we celebrate 25 years of us. From the first night we hung out, I knew I wanted to be your wife. Everyone told us marriage was hard and it was a lot of work. 25 years later and I disagree. Life is hard, really hard. But my marriage is not. Having you in my corner, makes life brighter and lighter. I would choose you in every life time. Thanks @unityinc76 for allowing me to be a part of the org over the years. Unity not the org, but the idea isn’t everyone that agrees on everything all the time. Unification is the coming together for a common cause, even while holding differences. Shoot there’s even groups that normally wouldn’t hang out together, but for the sake of encouraging our youth, we can come together and form a Unity. S/O to everyone who came and those that served those that came! Extra S/O to @okcthunder @okcthunderentertainers & @rumblethebison for showing the love!!!
