Day one | One year 🤍

One year ago I said “Day 1”. I made a promise to myself one year ago today that I would commit.

This was one of the most challenging and rewarding years of my life and I am so excited that it’s just the beginning. If I have learned anything this past year it’s that while nutrition and exercise are so important, your village and those you surround yourself with are just as important (and sometimes your village is your niece giving you a sticker for completing a @onepeloton ride).

I’m lucky to have such amazing friends and family that helped to encourage me this year. Every comment/text/message that was sent to me, I saved and I kept for myself to remind me why I was doing what I was doing on the hard days.

If I can offer any advice it would be to surround yourself with not only a support system but to also change what you look at on social media. I changed and followed like-minded people on similar missions and felt the difference in motivation. And also if you find yourself without a village: Hi! I’m your village now!

I did something that I previously hated: I took the selfies. I no longer wanted to untag photos of myself with my friends and my nieces/nephews because I was insecure with how I looked. So take your selfies!

I also surrounded myself with the people who are masters of their craft. I worked with @krissmuss18 and @loridrorrd who I not only respect professionally but who have become wonderful friends. I joined a virtual team at my job with the shared goal to keep each other motivated and accountable with weekly virtual workouts so I remained consistent. Later I joined @transformpt specifically because they were a local and community based gym and support system that took the time to get to know the individuals and not just about the numbers. I have met such wonderful people there and know I am better because of it. by @emelega

Client Transformation!!!! 💡💡💡💡

Meet Erin, my incredible client who has been crushing her fitness and nutrition goals since March!

In just a few months, Erin has shed almost 20 pounds, proving that dedication and consistency are key to success. She's been a true champion, both inside and outside the gym.

Consistency is Key: Erin's commitment to her workouts, both at the gym and on her own time, has been unwavering. She's proven that every effort counts on this fitness journey.

Nutrition on Point: Erin has displayed incredible discipline with her nutrition, whether she's at home or on the road attending special events. She's made mindful choices that align with her goals.

Supporting and Inspiring Others: Not only is Erin achieving her goals, but she's also been a pillar of strength for her sister. She's been there to encourage and hold her sister accountable on this shared journey.

We're thrilled with Erin's progress so far, and we know that together, we're well on our way to reaching those ultimate goals!

Erin, your determination is truly inspiring, and we're proud to be part of your fitness journey! @transformpt
