Recently my son told me how some children made fun of his Nike’s , in their words Nike’s are very cheap now, your shoes are just 50 ‘dullurs’ or less. My baby had a long face while we drove home and after he shared this information with me , I swung into action.
I told him that , his shoes cover his feet and that’s all that matters. I further told him that when people secretly admire something about you ,they sometimes try to make you less confident because your radiance reminds them of their shortcomings.
Now, I’m not the type of mum that will always tell you to ignore a snide comment, I will help you with witty answers. So I have prepared my child for what your child will come up with , I have also warned him to be careful not to be the one to tear anyone down cause it does not feel good at all.
The first form of education starts with us as guardians, prepare your babies for the world they will be living in, because you won’t be with them all the time.

Pastor Ibukun Awosika was live in Saskatoon for the ARISE Summit. My heart was sooooo happy when I heard the news. I made plans to go and to get as close as possible for a photo.
