for anyone who knows what has transpired within the past week to me 😂💀 knows how important music is to me above all, lmaooo. Life is funny. Managed to see @dijondijon_ two nights in a row - really can’t emphasize how awesome hearing him + the band live is. Incredibly weird beautiful fundamentally human music. Wrote this piece on dijon for @deedsmagazine S/O @iniikpot for the two hour facetime rambling abt sound and production and my friends in supporting me and reading as i continue to slam my fingers on a laptop keyboard for fun <3 🤪 🤣 ❤️‍🔥 link in biooooo taken in Chicago, Illinois by @ememik46

It takes a village (literally) lmao. A year ago today all my determined aunties put together Elsie’s Calabar Etenge Wedding Crown. While we were chaotically running all over the hotel trying to get everything together, 😆 Elsie was so surprisingly calm amidst the chaos. And maybe that’s the point of most things. Happiest of anniversaries to my sister Elsie and Mike @mjarnold_93 #HeyArnolddddddsss 🤍🤍🤍 by @ememik46

Portrait photography across the African diaspora is vast, imaginative; resonant— the MoMA’s “Ideas of Africa” exhibit was so beautiful, closes this weekend! 🫶🏾 #MoMA #nyc #photography #fyp taken in Manhattan, New York by @ememik46
