Lately I’ve been trying to motivate myself to post more work because I might not be able to work for a while when Lucía arrives 😅 Plan Fresno was a project I worked when I was a designer in Southwest Strategies. It was a great case study because we needed an identity that could have sub-brands for the different projects the city of Fresno had to offer to the community. The mark forms a leaf, symbolizing growth and sustainability, while its internal lines reference roads/infrastructure while the bottom creates another leaf that reference the Fresno’s nature and promise of sustainability for the city. Finally the leaf shape extends beyond the logo, becoming a flexible graphic element within the brand system. May not be the most exciting project, but it was an experience to work on it :) #brandidentitydesign #designer #logodesign #branding taken in Fresno, California by @emeortiz

WIP for Hanami, a casual sushi spot in Tijuana. It closed a while ago, but that gave me the chance to revisit the project with fresh eyes and improve it for Fenotipo’s site. Recently I left my full time job to revamp my ol’ small studio @fenotipostudio with @pishin 🥹🫶🏽 It’s been 3ish years working with very tight deadlines and interesting client/projects. One of them was this construction firm. This is an unused concept but one of my favorites: the icon represents their strategy thats based on a strong foundation of trust, communication and strategy between their team and their clients.
