I’m a Black Author & Publisher and Creator of Worlds. Keshkin is available for preorder direct on @black.ink.alchemy website or on AMZ. GenAI sucks.

POSTS STORIES REELS

I know some of you are wondering what happened to Yeshvara and Shattered Realm.

Remember the big Anthropic lawsuit? Well I decided to take a look at the big old list and guess what? I found my work there. An older iteration, but still there. Shattered Realm was taken and scanned into their LLM. If anyone decided to run it through a secret or, I’m positive it would bounce back as SLOP.

Pissed. Me. Off.

(To be continued)

I found myself on the big list and put my info in. Unfortunately, I didn’t make the smaller, payout list. So I had a decision to make. Have my work be perceived as AI-written or redo the whole tale.

It put me in a funk for months. I felt like I’d been robbed. I’ve worked on this story for decades of life events, and now it would be looked at as AI slop.

So, I’m in the midst of a rewrite. It’s frustrating and annoying and a million different things, but I’ve finally started to look at it as a unique opportunity.

I’ll have updates on it soon, but until then, head up to the links in my bio and preorder KESHKIN: A Tales of the Keshkin Novella. It’s a little taste of the world of Yeshvara, that will set you up for the new Shattered Realm. Yes, I’m thinking of keeping the name.

See you in a bit.

Success in the nick of time. Pretty sure it’s mostly gibberish, but its words. They count.

Follow the chaos, shenanigans and sibling rivalries in this first installment of the Tales of the Keshkin series and learn that the foundation upon which life is built is not always so firm.

Sundering Week is meant to be a final week of quiet and contemplation before the new year dawns. However, under most circumstances, “calm” is an unknown concept in the Kharbinian family.

It’s outlining time!

Finally setting the re-write down, and I have this new method I’m trying to use. I’ve stripped the POVs down to two, but there are a couple of peeps that will get an honorable mentions to carry into Book 2.

So, index cards. The only pain I had was getting the right colors. I’ll go into that more in the next post, but I’ve always loved color coding.

Let’s see how far I get today: goal of 125k words. If I can get it down over the next week, pre-orders and crowd funding should go up in December!

Later!

This is a quick novella to introduce you to the world of Yeshvara. The chaotic children of the Kharbinian Keshkin House is the perfect slice of life to set you up for the insanity to come.

You can buy it direct from @black.ink.alchemy for only 0.99 or from AMZ for… well a different price.

FINALLY - preorders are open! Order Direct.

So lemme tell you about some of these KESHKIN:
🗣️🗣️
Sundering Week is meant to be a calm stretch of reflection and renewal before the new year. But calm has never survived the Keshkin youths of Kharbinia.

Affectionately—and often begrudgingly—called the “Kharbinian Horde”, these young troublemakers are leaving Aravindha Keep to return home to Alnyagel, where Ascension has been celebrated for generations.

They’re only one branch of the sixteen great families who will be arriving at the Keep in a near-simultaneous flood of tradition, rivalry, and barely-contained chaos.

Eight days on the road gives the Horde ample time to gather allies, spark mischief, and engineer the kind of trouble only they can conjure. And with sixteen families converging on Alnyagel, this year’s Ascension promises to be unforgettable for reasons no one is prepared for.#bookstagram #fyp #talesofthekeshkin #fantasybooks #fantasyreads by @emeph.writes
