Hi furiends! 👋🏽

Since our community is growing, it's time for a quick introduction. Come get to know the beard behind the screen 😜

First things first: my name is Emerson! My handle (@emer_dale) is just a fun play on Emerson + Airedale.

I’m an Airedale Terrier living in Toronto and I am 100% powered by high energy and big social vibes! My current obsessions include lavish barkcuterie meals, specialty biscuits, and hunting for 🐇 furiends. Basically, I’m just out here living my absolute best life! 🐶✨

Whether you’ve been here since day one or just popped in, drop a photo of your pup below and tell me: what is their weirdest obsession? (Eating bubbles? Socks? Watching the printer?) I need to know! 👇🏽🧡

Today is my half birthday 🎂

The crazy lady said something about me turning 6 months old on her and pawther's 6 years married anniversary and then we went on a long drive to meet this cool lady who took a bunch of photos of us.

Crazy lady said I was a right menace 🐶 It was a lot of fun!

Here's me with my pawrents. I love them, and I know they love me 💖

It’s November 1st, my sweater collection is on standby, but the weather is giving spring ☀️

Let's recap my new Halloween looks for 2026 while it's still warm. My pawrents treat my Halloween wardrobe like Paris Fashion Week; many new looks each year.

Started as an undercover menace: a dog in sheep’s clothing—BOO!
Captured in all my woolly deceit at Halloween Howl 5.0 by @barkandsmiles 🐑

Then I became a lethal shadow warrior: squad coordination for our Rogues and Assassins night.
Photos by my uncle @damongrills, who knows my angles 🥷

Halloween is over, but the drama is year-round. Which vibe won: deceptive sheep or silent assassin? 👇🏽👀

Double, double toil and trouble—the grand finale cauldron has bubbled over. ✨

The missing day 7/13 biscuit has finally made its dramatic appearance, and it’s a potion bottle to wrap up the countdown in style. crazy lady pulled out all the stops for tonight’s spooky feast: served in my @dogseatdessert jack-o’-lantern bowl, complete with the potion biscuit, the "double double toil and trouble" crunch-maker and a side of @ruffnbites Blood Bank Brew to wash it all down.
A high-sorcery banquet fit for the queen of spooky season. Halloween might be over, but this girlie pup's love for treaties will never end.

Stealth mode: activated. The wait is finally over, and the lewk is lethal 🥷🏽

The family squad assembled in full shadow-warrior regalia, ready to silently infiltrate the neighbourhood and execute the ultimate treat heist. Obviously, I’m the secret weapon of this ninja clan—the humans are mostly just here for aesthetic backup and security clearance.

May your strikes be silent and your treat bags overflowing tonight. Happy Halloween from the shadows 🎃🐾

Happy Halloween, boils and ghouls. The main event has officially arrived 🎃

The fit is steamed, locked away until later today—trust me, the family fashion is unmatched. On top of that, crazy lady has promised a spooky feast tonight, which is the absolute bare minimum required for a terror like me!

Consider this your formal warning: keep your treat offerings generous tonight, or I might menace the heck outta you! 👻

The eve of Hallows’ Eve has arrived, and day 12/13 brought forth full cemetery drama: a tombstone with a creepy hand literally clawing its way out of the grave.

crazy lady thought an undead limb rising from the dirt was going to rattle me. Please. Terriers don’t get spooked by cursed cemetery relics. And if you THOUGHT you saw even a flicker of hesitation in my eyes, trust me—you blinked and hallucinated the whole thing.

The zombie hand tried to make a dramatic entrance, but I was faster Demolished and sent straight back underground in under three seconds flat.

Now the real mission begins. If crazy lady stays up past the witching hour tonight, I’m deploying maximum charm offensive to swindle a midnight snack out of her. Stay tuned for the late-night biscuit heist.

Day 11/13 of the countdown, and the timing couldn’t have been more poetic. 🎃🍭✨

crazy lady walked out the door for work sporting a Minnie Mouse doughnut headband. Now, listen to me: those doughnuts looked shockingly authentic. They smelled like momager, yes, but they were begging for a crunch-test. Naturally, I tried to deploy my teef and got immediately told off for attempted wardrobe destruction. So uncalled for 🙄

Luckily, slot eleven delivered the ultimate consolation prize: a jack-o’-lantern lollipop biscuit from @dogseatdessert. Far superior to fake accessories, hundred percent edible, and strictly reserved for terrier consumption. Balance is officially restored.

Day 10/13 of the countdown and the Grim Reaper has officially arrived on the scene 💀

Terrifying harbinger of doom? Normally, yes. But when crafted by @dogseatdessert, I have to admit… they’re actually kind of cute.

Still didn't stop me from sending them straight to the afterlife, though. Professional duties first, aesthetic appreciation second 😜

Better late than never—which just means you’re getting blessed with a double dose of gourmet biscuit action today. ✨

Day 9/13 recap from last night went a little something like this:
1. Infiltrate the scene dressed as an innocent Dale in sheep’s clothing 🐑
2. Bypass dinner completely because dessert from @dogseatdessert takes top priority. (Dinner is merely a suggestion, anyway.)
3. Dramatically avert my eyes to prove I have god-tier impulse control.
4. Snatched the prize and inhaled it with pure terrier savagery.

Surprise: the sheep costume was a total sham. Beneath the soft fleece lies an apex predator with zero pastry mercy 🐺

Blink and you’ll miss the magic!

Day 8/13 of the countdown: the shadows deliver another bat for the nightly sacrifice. @dogseatdessert really outdid themselves, but this creature of the night stands zero chance when my teef are involved. Demolished immediately!

“Yer a wizard, ’Arry.”
...Well, technically, yer an exhausted Airedale in need of some unbroken slumber, but the magic still stands.

It's day 7/13 of our @dogseatdessert countdown revealed the crispiest little wizard hat, and honestly? It’s doing all the heavy lifting today because my social battery is near zero.

Before anyone sounds the missing-biscuit alarm about day 6, crazy lady has locked away in the vault until Halloween day. I had a wildly exhausting weekend and have spent the last 48 hours horizontal, aggressively refueling my terrier engine. Trust me, everyone is shocked by this turn of events. Stay tuned: double biscuit drop coming for the grand finale!

Does your pup need a full two-day recovery nap after a big weekend, or do they somehow run on an infinite battery? 👇🏽⚡️
