Had a fantastic day in the chair of @manebyalli! I feel fabulous!! The stripes are inspired by an idea of @serena.the.stylist and I LOVE them! For as bold as I do my color I hesitated with the horizontal raccoon stripes… but here I am loving them! Should’ve known! by @emeraldcityxty

PEOPLE!!! I just ordered my first #blackmilkclothing dress and I am SO excited to see how well it fits! #glp1journey is really a good thing for me, my body, and my mental health! I am taking pictures in a MIRROR! It’s WILD to me to be in this mental state and I am so grateful to be here!

I also ordered new glasses from @spexinthecity_seattle today and I cannot WAIT to get them!!! Mario always treats me right and I am so grateful I found him 14 years ago! by @emeraldcityxty

A work day view! Blessed to have such a lovely view of my space! by @emeraldcityxty

I moved from a 14 1/2 year living space to a new apartment in June. I just completed the last of the last decorating and had a housewarming party on Sunday… I wore the polka dot dress for my party… the green dress is my 9/9 portal olive green manifest a new space of abundance dress! Sending blessing of abundance to all! The number 9 represents closure and I am looking forward to the new portal opening up in front of me! I am ready for the next level in life and what it shall bring! I have also tossed in a quick set of pictures and a short walk through video of the apartment. I hope you all enjoy! I most certainly am blessed to be right here - right now! by @emeraldcityxty

I may not post every day — but I do try to grab a picture in that damn closet mirror! These are a couple cute outfits from this week. I love Torrid’s new Retro Chic line! I’m a MCM girlie and these speak to me! Plus - real seersucker and embroidered cherries 🍒? Sign me up!

It was a good week! I’m staying pretty true to a food world where the GLP1 caused the food noise to just vanish. It’s so wild how this food noise affects my food world. I am finding myself forgetting to put groceries in the fridge that need to be in there. I get the the groceries into the kitchen and sometimes they will sit there on the counter until I discover them later having become something that you can no longer eat. This mostly happens with bread. I am doing pretty decent on protein intake, but I still love my carbs and will order them on Instacart and then not eat them. It’s wild! What a crazy journey this already is! Stay tuned. I’ll try to post more as I do this whole embrace the mirror project.

Day 3 of embracing the mirror! Not a lot to say — just making it a mirror day again.

I started a GLP1 a few months ago to get my health in check. It was a hard decision to make as I was terrified of all of the side effects. I had and continue to have several friends who have had much success as well as my brother who has lost a great deal of weight. These selfies are rather difficult for me as I learn to embrace the image I see in the mirror. This new apartment is good for me and I am grateful to be on this path and sharing it with you. Look for more of these selfies potentially I might keep on doing this. It feels good. And for good measure, I put in a couple pictures of me that @caphillstreetfashion took the other day featuring my friend @theladykrishna. So blessed in this beautiful life!!

Actually trying something here. I recently moved into an exciting new apartment, but it came with closets with mirrored doors. I hate mirrors. They show me all the things that I don’t necessarily want to see. Today I took a series of selfies where I did my make up and actually stood in front of the scary mirror and took a picture. I am surprisingly pleased with the picture so I thought I would share. Love to all of you that like I do struggle with body dysmorphia and self image problems. Lord knows we all need it! by @emeraldcityxty

Fabulous new hair by @manebyalli — a fabulous way to spend a Saturday! This is the first color job by Alli and it looks phenomenal! Cannot wait to watch her grow. Thanks Alli! by @emeraldcityxty
