The only thing worse than creating garbage is then having to throw it into a mountain of other garbage. I wish I could do this with my eyes closed, it makes me so sad. If I can, I’ll drive all my garbage home with me to place it at the curb for a truck to pick up and whisk away so I remain oblivious. While I was asking staff for help in navigating this new landfill, the storm hit and we took shelter. They spoke of things I would not normally find myself conversing about. They complained not enough hunting tags are given out, while I cut up plastic desert dome lids so no wild animal would get their heads caught in them. by @emeraldcuckoo

Grey, rainy days. I’ve driven more new backroads and dirt roads than I have in previous trips, exploring an expanded area of both the Township of Machar (South River) and the Township of Strong (Sundridge). So far Old Muskoka Rd was one of the sketchiest to drive in the dark and in the rain. by @emeraldcuckoo

I can not stop laughing. Billy the dog would walk with her leash dragging behind her, Guinness the cat would grab the leash and Billy would automatically stop walking. by @emeraldcuckoo

My brother and sister-in-law are thinking of getting a dog. Their cat Guinness ends up not only being totally cool with living with a dog but he’s already working on how to control a dog. This made my day and I fell to the floor laughing. (See next photo). by @emeraldcuckoo

It absolutely dumbfounds me to think of how few people fit into this school house built in 1902. Was there school during the snowy winter months? I really should learn more about this building… which was then transformed into an open concept, bedroom loft, with fantastic millwork, complete with a cook stove… home. by @emeraldcuckoo
