🤍5.24.2025🤍

One of the best days of my life! My best friend proposed! We are getting married!! And to top it off, he surprised me with both of our families💍💗

There’s this song that Kelsea Ballerini released last year called “To the men that love women after heartbreak”, and here is one of the verses from the song:

🎶 To the men that love women after heartbreak
And to the tears they catch but didn’t make ‘em fall
To the strong and sturdy shoulders helpin’ her get over
And the ones that get forever after all🎶

This applies to so much more than just boyfriends or silly things… I heard this song and it couldnt have been put better into words. Matt has been the person who has loved me so well and picked up pieces of so many things from past trials, hurt, heartbreak, and grief. He has loved me through it, been a constant and steady partner, and made me realize that people who truly love you don’t leave when things get hard. We both have grown so much and that is what I cherish the most. That’s all I have ever needed. I can’t wait to have that example for my life with a husband, a future parent, and person.

I pray to cherish this season so much and to realize this is so much bigger than just planning a wedding, but preparing for a lifetime. I’m so thankful that I get to do it with Matthew❤️

I love you FOREVER!✨💍🦋☀️
