I didn’t even playing time that night… but I still acted like a fan.
Kansas had the hype.
I had the doubt.
My senior checked me @khuri7 —and it changed everything in how I looked at highly touted players.
That was the last time I ever gave someone the respect and power I hadn’t even claimed myself yet. It was a long work in progress to get to the space of confidence I needed but it was a process that was shaped by moments like this.

I had to learn the hard way that excuses don’t get you anywhere.

You don’t deserve success just because you want it.

You earn it by showing up, adjusting, and pushing through when it gets tough.
