To work hard for something and have injuries screw up plans and goals has been really hard the last 2 years. I made the effort to race my final regional at Hangtown 10 days after my collarbone surgery, which wasn’t easy, but I knew finishing there would allow me to register as an alternate and have a shot at making the national roster for Loretta’s. So so happy to say the effort paid off and I did in fact make the final roster and will be racing the Girls class! I really wanted my own ticket, but this is the next best thing considering the circumstances and I’m so excited for this opportunity, especially to be racing there with my Dad, too ❤️

The results sheet never tells the whole story.

Being caught between riding an 85cc and 125cc is one of the toughest spots in motocross. On the 85, you’re down on power and getting kicked around in deep ruts. On the 125, you may find yourself lining up against older, stronger riders often on 250’s. It’s a challenging place to be, but @emersyn_513 keeps showing up anyway.

What makes her story even more impressive is what she’s overcome. Two broken collarbones in the last year, with the most recent happening just over three weeks ago during LLRQ Friday practice at Fox Raceway.

Most people would still be recovering. Emersyn is back at the track chasing her dreams.

The results may not show it today, but toughness isn’t measured by a finish position. It’s measured by the willingness to get back up every single time you get knocked down.

Her dad punched his ticket to Loretta’s, so she’ll be making the trip to the Ranch to cheer him on while hoping to line up as an alternate if her opportunity comes.

The future is bright for this badass young lady. Keep an eye on her.

P2 Women’s A for round 3 of @norcs_racing. Not where I wanted to finish! Conditions were not ideal, tossed my goggles lap 1 and then going down a couple times cost me the win. Onto the next one…

Mesquite MX was such a good time! Did some training with @grassroots_method before the LL Area Qualifiers, I was so lucky to have some fast girls to train and ride with all week. Qualified MW 6th overall in Women’s, 2nd overall in Girls 11-16 and SW 4th overall in Women’s, 1st overall in Girls 11-16. Felt like I improved a lot over the week, had some bad starts and good battles, too. Plenty of room for improvement and I have a lot of work to do before Regionals. Ready for some off-road racing this weekend @dirtridersmc Spring Harescramble @hornrapidsmx 💪🏻 Big thanks to my dad for everything he does for me and all the constant prep and work on my bikes, couldn’t do it without you!
