This post is about 5 months late but, what an honor it's been to have competed as a college golfer these past four years!!! I have so much gratitude for UND golf and all of the memories, opportunities, lessons, and incredible people it has brought me along the way. I will never be able to explain my love and gratitude for this game, and I feel so lucky that it's a game you can play forever. Being a college athlete was truly one of the greatest joys of my life!💚🤍

I am also so very grateful knowing UND is right where God wants me. The journey and foundations of being a college athlete are so valuable, and it will forever be something I have learned so much from and can always lean on. So praise Jesus for that!! With that, I am excited to be graduating this December with my B.S in Elementary Education!✏️🍎

Lastly, I am SO beyond excited for my next chapter being the graduate assistant coach for @undwgolf! I can't wait for all of the memories to come!🥰🏌🏻‍♀️ by @emersynwalker_

what I would do to hear your contagious and crazy laugh just one more time.

or hear you call me emdawg and squeeze my "chubby cheeks" every time you saw me. you started doing that to me ever since I met you for the first time at 10 years old. I remember that day, I was feeling sick, but I felt so much better when you first walked in the room! it was your and annie's first high school dance together as a couple. you really had a way of making annie smile, feel beautiful, and loved. but you also made everyone else in your life smile. I remember meeting you at our front door, talking for a bit, and just absolutely loving you. I just knew that there was something about you, you were so unbelievably easy to love.

you were so selfless. you never failed to miss an opportunity to build others up. you were always the first to tell someone "great job" or "you killed it!", that you love them, and that they are amazing. still to this day, I don't think i've ever seen such a loyal, fun, caring, kind, and selfless friend like you.

something that I will always remember about you was your crazy diet. it always made us laugh. your favorites were steak, a good Caesar salad, reeses peanut butter cups, shirley temples, gatorade, dino nuggets and the list goes on. these are just the little things that made sean, sean.

you were a smiler, an encourager, a leader, a comforter, a joker, and a tremendous light to this world. the most admirable traits about you to me was your selflessness and kindness.

you made the world a better place. you made my sister annie and your dog oakley such happy girls.

I will keep the legacy of your life alive through always finding the light in any of life's situations, good or bad, being a soft spot for others to land on, and just smiling at the world, even when it feels heavy.

there are so many things I wish I could tell you, or just moments to be had with you, but I know you are always by my side ❤️. I can't wait to do all of these fun things in heaven with you one day. sean, you were one in 7 billion. until we meet again, fly high chev❤️🕊️
