Creating “Somewhere Between Holding and Falling” has truly been one of the best experiences i have ever had. I am so beyond proud of these dancers and everything they have achieved. My original vision for this piece was to find a way to express the many thoughts in your own mind without using words. Finding a way to express feelings and emotions through simple movements was quite difficult, and the choreography I had put on these dancers was by far more difficult than i can imagine. Although, from the moment they stepped into the studio, I knew they had everything and more I could ever want for this piece. They worked so incredibly hard throughout this process and I couldn’t be more proud to teach them. I must be honest I pushed these dancers beyond their comfort zone completely, and their dedication and constant pushing for more and more each day has paid off 100%. They’re willingness to step up to challenges and difficult or uncomfortable things has not gone unnoticed and hopefully will go with them in their dance career moving forward. I was greatly honored to step on stage and bow with them this past spring show, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better group of dancers! AMAZING job, and thank you to my dancers for making this vision and experience so special to me. Also a special thank you to @internationalballetacademy and @rubenmartincintas @kathleendahlhoff for being by my side and supporting me throughout it all! Thank you to everybody for the nonstop support and acknowledgment this past show! 🤍🤍🤍 - These stunning photos from @xmbphotography by @emerycsteed

spring show 26’ 💛👑

words can’t even express how thankful i am for everything @internationalballetacademy has given me throughout this past year. i would like to give a very special thank you @rubenmartincintas and @kathleendahlhoff for there never ending love and support for my dance and choreographing journey, i wouldn’t have been able to do it without you!!

i am especially grateful to have gotten the opportunity to choreograph my piece called “Somewhere Between Holding And Falling” on a few dancers at the studio these past few months, and there is no better way to put it then to say they truly took every little vision i had and fufilled it to the MAX! i will forever be proud of every single one of those dancers for letting my artistic mind go wild on them. its safe to say i had a very distinct vision going into this and they did nothing but exceed that in a blink of an eye.

once again, thank you @internationalballetacademy for letting me have this opportunity and awakening things i never knew i could acomplish! i look forward to what the future holds dance and choreography wise! by @emerycsteed
