🇳🇱✨ MACH X AMSTERDAM

When Holly first mentioned Amsterdam, I knew we had some incredible venue options — but @felixmeritisamsterdam was the favourite from the start.

And then came the best surprise… discovering that the amazing Emily from @amerpodia was the event planner at the venue! 🥰

Having worked together on MACH Two, being reunited three years later for MACH X made this one extra special.

🏛️ Beautiful venue heritage
🚲 Rickshaw interviews around Amsterdam
👥 350+ delegates
📅 2 incredible days
🤝 One seriously brilliant team

MACH X went off with a bang! 💥

A HUGE well done to the whole team for smashing this one and delivering an outstanding event. ❤️

And we're already looking forward to doing it all again in Amsterdam next September 🇳🇱

…but first… Boston! 🇺🇸✈️

Such a fun stay at @thehoxtonhotel in Amsterdam last night!

There 'Concept room' is a fun setup for families or friendship slumber parties! 6 people can sleep in this one room.! 🥳 (best night sleep I've had in a while, with so much space)

With the majority of Hoxton properties, their 'Apartment' also offers a great flexible event space with 2 board table set ups and a lounge, kitchen and bar area. 📝🥂

It was so lovely to catch up with some fantastic hotels last week over lunch, added bonus of it being in Dorset so I didn't have to travel far!

A big thank you for @mariayacco @great_hotels_of_the_world for organising a special lunch! 🥂

Over a year into my freelance journey and, honestly, I’m still pinching myself at the life it’s given me. ✨

One of the biggest things I wanted from freelancing was a little more freedom — and it's gaven me exactly that. It meant I could slow things down over the summer, spend proper time with family, recharge… and what a couple of months it’s been! ❤️

Apparently, slowing down also meant some pretty BIG life changes…

💍 I got engaged!
🐶 We brought home our new puppy!

I’m incredibly grateful to the amazing clients who continue to trust me with their events throughout the year. From planning and logistics to being onsite and making the magic happen, I genuinely love what I do — and even more so because freelancing has given me the freedom to do it on my terms.

With contracts signed for the rest of the year, I’m looking forward to getting stuck back in from September.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported my freelance journey so far — here’s to whatever the rest of the year has in store! 🥂

It was a pleasure to visit @tewinburyfarmhotel this week whilst I was up on Hertford. A big thank you to Bea and Fiona from @vinetreeofficial for arranging.

Set within 700 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, this incredible venue offers so much more than meets the eye. Its versatility makes it an exceptional choice for a wide range of events, from conferences and corporate away days to weddings, private celebrations, exhibitions, and large-scale outdoor festivals.

✨ Highlights include:
• 700 acres of stunning surroundings
• 12 unique indoor event spaces
• A dedicated festival site with capacity for up to 1,500 guests
• 53 beautifully appointed bedrooms for overnight stays

It's always great to see venues that combine character, flexibility, and scale in one location.

✈️ 24 hours in Amsterdam 🇳🇱

This week was a quick but productive 24-hour trip to Amsterdam for a site visit ahead of our September programme.

It was great to be back after a few years—rediscovering this beautiful city, revisiting some of its iconic spots, and our event venues. I spent time at Felix Meritis and Soho House, walking through the spaces and bringing our plans for September one step closer to reality.

One of the best parts of the trip was catching up with familiar faces. It was lovely to see Nouschka and Arjen again, and finally visit the Van der Valk Schiphol Hotel with Jody.

There's something special about getting on-site—seeing the venues firsthand, talking through ideas, and building relationships with the people who help make great events happen.

Now it's time to take everything we've learned and get excited for September!✨

Before leaving Wiltshire, we were treated to breakfast and a site visit at @bishopstrowhotel @smallluxuryhotels

With 36 stylish bedrooms, versatile event spaces, and a newly enhanced spa and gym offering coming this Summer, this beautiful country estate is a standout choice for meetings, retreats and incentive stays.

What truly sets it apart is its character and charm, from the striking pleated fabric ceilings to the luxurious silk-covered walls, creating a wonderfully quirky backdrop for memorable events in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside.

What a lovely end to the week!

Thank you Simon @avenuesales and Gemma from @homewoodbath for a fabulous evening!

Homewood Hotel combines 31 stylish bedrooms, inspiring event spaces and acres of beautiful grounds just minutes from Bath. Perfect for company retreats or small offsite meetings.

The blind folded taste test was a lot of fun in the hotel's own garden, and we then enjoyed seasonal dishes crafted from those vegetables and herbs grown over dinner along with other locally sourced ingredients which were delicious 🍅🌿🎍🥔🥕🥩🧀

Waking up and taking a dip in the spa this morning was a real treat with hydropools, steam rooms and saunas to unwind and make the most of the peaceful surrounding countryside. 👙

What a couple of months it’s been with @principalglobalevents

From Chicago to Las Vegas, it’s been an incredible run of events, amazing people, and a lot of hard work behind the scenes to bring some seriously memorable experiences to life.

Back in April, we produced a closing party for 4,000 guests in Chicago, transforming Radius into a fully immersive world inspired by arcades, gaming, and digital entertainment. Seeing the vision come to life after months of planning made everything worth it! Huge thanks to Castle Party Planners and Yanni Designs for helping make the impossible feel possible.

Then last week, it was straight to Las Vegas to deliver regional HUBs for a major technology conference at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. Across three days, we transformed seven restaurants into networking spaces and VIP HUBs for 5,000 attendees — a huge team effort with countless moving parts, but incredibly rewarding to see it all come together.

Ifelt like I became part of the furniture at @sugarcanerestaurants — Nicole and her team were absolute stars throughout, delivering impeccable service and delicious food!

To top it all off, Mindy from @hamiltonhatlounge brought an amazing cowboy hat customisation stand that perfectly rounded off my time in the States.

One of the best parts of these projects has been the people. I’ve genuinely loved working with Principal over the last few months and have truly felt part of the family from day one. A massive thank you to the whole team for the trust, support, and laughs along the way.

Now, with summer approaching, the pace finally starts to slow a little — bringing some much-needed family time, sunshine, and a chance to recharge before the busy season begins again. Roll on September… I’m already excited for what’s next, get in touch if you need help!

Yesterday, Emma and I met for our annual tradition of going to @thenici and having a glass of bubbles to celebrate our birthdays (which are days apart) 🥂

But I wanted to give her a little shout out...

In the last year Emma has been my rock and my inspiration. She's been so supportive, empathetic, and overall a HUGE part in my journey - I cannot thank her enough for her continued support!
