My painting titled “Wasn’t Me!” at the Thousand Oaks Community Art Gallery in Newbury Park for @thousandoaksartassociation ‘s Open Juried Show exhibition

May 4 - May 27

Step into a world of joyful chaos with “Wasn’t Me!” — a 20x24 inch original oil painting capturing a hyper-imaginative, storybook-style scene straight from the artist’s playful mind. In this expressive and whimsical portrait, a wide-eyed child stands frozen in a room bursting with toys, and color. The scene? A toy birthday bash gone wild — and it’s not clear who’s to blame for the mess.

Is it the kid? Maybe.
Is it the grinning white bunny with a golden tooth lurking nearby? Most definitely suspicious.

Perfect for collectors of imaginative art, storytelling portraiture, and playful wall decor, this one-of-a-kind painting blends technical skill with narrative magic. Ideal for children's spaces, art lovers with a sense of humor, or anyone who believes in the wild power of imagination and mischief.

My latest painting titled “Shadows” at @taggallery for @calartleague ‘s Shadows exhibition

March 25 - April 16

Juror: @shananys

‘Shadows’ explores the idea that the eye is a window into the soul—some people share their inner world openly, while others keep it hidden. A monumental eye spans the sky, symbolizing awareness and perception. Below, small figures cast long shadows that reveal fragments of their inner lives—dreams, struggles, and quiet longings.
Gold paint highlights the eye and shadows, emphasizing the value and sacredness of these unseen stories. Through symbolism and contrast, Shadows invites viewers to reflect on empathy, perception, and the hidden depths each person carries.
