It was amazing getting the chance to both see and meet @holdingabsence this past week in Baltimore. Thank you guys for being such a positive force! 🖤

Thank you to everyone who came out for our stripped down set last night (and to all of the other bands).

This was the first time I’ve run my piezo-equipped @prsguitars through my Fishman Aura preamp and Loudbox. Seriously impressed with how convincing it was.

Restrings and Records. Plus, meet two of my guitar techs. 🐾

Also, we’ve got a pretty great show coming up next weekend on 10/3 😉

Yesterday, I was awarded the rank of Full Professor at Carroll Community College (progressing from Instructor, Assistant Prof., Associate Prof., to this terminal rank).

My promotion project focused on creation of an on-campus professional recording studio and creation of a corresponding Music Technology & Sound Recording concentration within the existing AFA Music degree. This project has been a long term goal of mine since being hired full-time in 2017. In that time; there has been consistent student, educational, and industry demand for this area of study and training. I couldn’t be happier that we are now able to meet this demand and offer valuable hands-on training and experience to both our students and community.

While there is still work ahead of us, I couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds. In addition to the benefits of the academic program, I believe the presence of an on-campus recording studio represents an advancement for our institution as whole - allowing for expansion of other academic programs, new educational opportunities, and community enrichment.

My full list of “thank yous” is on my LinkedIn post, but special thanks to @tonycorrelli at Deep End Studio for sharing his expertise as studio project consultant and helping both design and outfit CCC’s studio.

Thank you, as well, to my colleague @clarissapezoneceramics for taking these! taken in Carroll Community College by @emguitarist
