Steven and I just spent our honeymoon in Greece! Here are some of the highlights 🇬🇷

We spent a few days in Athens seeing the National Garden, Acropolis, and exploring the city. On our last day, we took the tram to the Athenian Riveria so we could spend the day swimming and relaxing on the beach. Mostly I was the one swimming and Steven was the one relaxing 😘

We then flew from Athens to Santorini for the rest of the trip. We explored Fira and Oia by both walking and the public bus. We walked down to the Karavolades steps to the Old Port and took the cable car back up. The highlight of our trip was our catamaran cruise around the island of Santorini. We saw the red and black volcanic beaches and swam in both the Mediterranean and the Santorinian hot springs. We finished the day with a romantic view of the sunset over the water.

We stayed at the most beautiful hotels, had AMAZING food, saw gorgeous sunsets and sunrises, and most importantly spent unforgettable romantic quality time together.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our honeymoon fund when we got married last year. We wouldn’t have been able to take this trip of a lifetime without all of our wonderful, kind, and thoughtful loved ones 🩷 by @emhaury

We got our wedding pictures back months ago but as it turns out I'm still bad at posting on the feed! Anyway reminder that I married da love of my life last year! Elena said I couldn't say it was amazeballs (but it was)

With today being the anniversary of the beginning of our relationship, I thought I would share some of my favorite photos from our engagement session last month.

Five years ago today, Steven asked me to be his girlfriend. After being best friends for so long before that, we finally realized we loved each other in more than just the platonic way.

These past 5 years Steven has showed me unconditional love. He is kind. He is funny. He is talented. He is smart. He is the most important thing in my life, and I am his.

We’ve bought a house together, adopted our girls Alaska and Mabel, and have otherwise just been happy to watch TV before bed and spend our weekends at the mall and arcade.

He supported me though being an inpatient nurse on a respiratory unit during a SARS pandemic. He was there with a hug after every shift and again when I accepted a new position in the cancer center. He took care of me both during and after my chest wall surgery. He hugged and celebrated me with each new milestone of my recovery. We mourned the death of our beloved Teddy together.

Steven is the love of my life, my closest friend, and the best person I know. And I can’t wait to marry him next October.

After nearly two months of what felt like constant knitting, I finally finished my porcelain sweater! I saw this pattern all over social media for months, but I didn’t feel like I had the skills to actually make it. After hyping myself up and talking to my knitting besties, I finally decided it was time for a new challenge and got started 🧶💙🤍
