Today I played in a golf Scramble with these foolz. Ive gotten back into the game thanks to a set of clubs my step-father put together on a whim. My grandmother played golf and most of these clubs are hers. The bag is his. If you play golf you know you have to connect with your clubs. I connect with these, and the game is fun again. I have met all of these awesome@people through Annette Stevko and the Eastside Professional Association (EPA) that I’ve been a part of in Portland for 10+ years. The weather was perfect. Have I got a story for you…These first time cutie patooties started with a contract on new construction in Forest Grove. But because so few of the units had sold and the owner/builder/seller still had majority interest (instead of the HOA), our first lender said: nope. So we switched lenders to the one that had closed the ONE sold unit in the complex. But because no units had sold since, they also said NOPE. So we kept looking. They expanded their search to Cornelius and we found a beautiful end unit on a park that had been on market for 30 days thinking WE GOT THIS! But guess what? Another offer came in at the exact same time. 🙄 T & J could not increase their price and so they immediately found an alternate property in a different subdivision. We wrote an offer the very same night and got our offer accepted. 30 days, 3 offers, 2 inspections, 2 lenders, and several months later, they finally get to move in. ☺️Congratulations to Toben & Jasmine and baby Damien on their first home in Cornelius. This one is perfect for you, and thanks for hanging in there!!! 🥳 by @emiddleton

This weekend, We got to see the very very beginning of the McKenzie River Trail. Did you know it starts from a spring in the ground? Yep, and then it goes underground and gets cleaned by old lava beds and then spits back out again at Tamolitch/Blue Pool. The water we “filtered” the night we went downstream from Tamolitch is the best water I’ve ever had. 🏆 These old growth Douglas Firs could certainly tell some stories. 🌲😊13.5 miles on the McKenzie River Trail, only 263’ of elevation (Southbound) - soul fed. Summer setup complete! ☀️🌻😎This is the patch of lawn I left to do exactly this on: lounge! It dries out in the Summer and that’s ok. Plastic kiddie pools - GET YOU ONE. ☝️ @_steph.farrington_ can attest they are awesome on a hot day. 🥵💦🔫Gardeners Note, stop reading if you DONT like gardening: I love how much of an experimentation gardening is, cultivating the land, seeing what grows and what doesn’t. It’s a constant learning process, and rewarding and frustrating. That’s how I imagine parenting is. Because I’m midlifed now, kids are unlikely to occur for me; that’s ok too. But with my garden, these are my babies, and I’m watching them grow. 👩‍🌾🫜🪴🪏Love you guys. Stay COOL out there by @emiddleton
