Here is my entry from the latest @dgfzine !! I'm really pleased with how this turned out, considering that I don't really do fully rendered digital pieces anymore lol
It features my oc Lucy riding through the stars on a unicorn!! I'm really proud of this piece, but if I could go back and change one thing, I'd make the unicorn a bit smaller, she's kinda giant lol by @emiii_bean

🩵Wren and Magnus enjoy some hot cocoa together❤️

MY BABIES!! MY SWEETIES!!! MY ANGELS!! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!! I just finished this today, what a lovely birthday gift to myself 💖 I actually first did the sketch in March, but I've been working on it on and off since, and now it's finally done!! Kinda funny of me to be posting a snowy wintry picture in the summer, but oh well. I really love how this turned out! You can't really tell on the picture, but certain parts are sparkly which I absolutely love!! 💖

🪡DAY 6: STITCHED🪡

I gave up on giving up lol

I decided that I DON'T want to quit and I WILL finish monster dude October this year! I've already made it this far why quit now!!

I colored this guy and have all the sketches I need to get caught up done, so hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get em all colored!! This is a lot of work for me since I haven't drawn like this every day since I was a teenager, but I really am having a lot of fun with it!

🫧DAY 5: SEE-THROUGH🫧

IM IN LOVE WITH THIS ONE 🫧🩵

When I originally pulled the see-through prompt, I thought I was gonna do something with a visible ribcage and organs, buuuuut... I was getting super squeamish and grossed out looking at references so I was like "what else is see-through?? BUBBLES!!!"

I'm super happy with how this turned out and had lots of fun painting the bubbles! They're simple but satisfying!!

🪞DAY 4: MIRROR🪞

I MADE IT PHEW!!! Not the best picture due to the lighting, but I still think it turned out okay! This guy is actually one of my old ocs, Hitoshi. It wasn't SUPPOSED to be him, but it started looking like him, so it became him!

I still like this one, but it's probably my least favorite so far lol this is also the furthest I've made it in an inktober challenge!!

🍄DAY 3: MUSHROOM🍄

AAAAHHH IM LATE!!!

I ended up working over yesterday, so I didn't have time to finish this guy 😭 😭 Luckily I'm off today so I finished him! Now I gotta get day 4 done so I'll be caught up!!

Anyways love him, he's blowing you a kiss awww 💜

🍭DAY 2: SWEET🍭

HES SOOOOO CUTE AAAAA This was so much fun to draw!! I sketched it last night, but finished coloring just now! All I could think while I was at work was "I can't wait to get home and color him" hehehe

What will day 3 hold? Who knows...

🦷DAY 1: TEETH🦷

MONSTER DUDE OCTOBER IS BACK BABYYYYY!!! I actually just finished this like 15 minutes ago because I actually want to draw something simple like this for every day! This guy's not TOO monster-ish, pretty much just his sharp teeth and teeth eye. The teeth eye kinda got lost in translation... I still am happy with how he turned out though! I had a lot of trust the process moments, but I had a lot of fun drawing this guy today!

I'm using a wheel to choose what I draw each day, so I'm excited to see what tomorrow holds!!

💖Colored pencil sketches for my mental health💖

Why did no one tell me sketching in colored pencil is so fun???? It doesn't erase as well, but the color makes me happy!
