I’ve been busy finishing a new batch of my Offcut Knobs.. sanding, oiling and buffing with wood shavings. This run I have Rimu, River Tōtara, American Oak and Walnut (L-R in first two photos) available.

Love these little knobs and seeing where they end up. All made from solid timber offcuts from projects, turned in Christchurch and finished in my workshop in West Auckland.

Tiny snippets of working on a dream project, @emiledrescher's workshop, only doable because of a dream landlord (wish there were more of them!) and friends that were on board squeezing in this workshop renovation before a trip overseas. I was pregnant when this move started, and it continues to change and evolve alongside us. I loved seeing the openings happening, the light changing, the very detailed designs for the builders and finding my old curtain in a box after the move, fitting like it was made for here! Thank you @hatch_workshop and Jane, counting our lucky stars 🩵 by @emiledrescher

I have some new handcarved mirrors made from native miro river wood on my shop. I’m happy to include a new carving style called Branch in this run.

The timber is salvaged from logs that have been submerged in rivers in Northland. Over time, the wood absorbs natural minerals from the riverbed, creating a really beautiful dark richness to these frames. by @emiledrescher

Back home from a quick trip to Wanganui to celebrate @jadetownsend’s solo show at the Te Whare o Rehua Sarjeant Gallery. Love to see her shining so bright and to have contributed my carved framing to her beautiful paintings.

I’ve just finished up a new run of Paper Roll Holders in Roasted Ash, we love using ours in the bathroom and kitchen at home.

This is the last top up of these I will be making this year. They are up on my shop and I post worldwide. 🤎🧻 by @emiledrescher

A new Paper Roll Holder in two sizes for toilet paper and kitchen paper in chestnut wood.
Both have the same drop-in dowel mechanism, which works really well and is easy to swap out rolls.

This initial run is in beautiful chestnut - a wood not commonly available Aotearoa.

Chestnut dowel turned locally, all made here in Aotearoa 🤎

Limited numbers now available on my shop 🌰 by @emiledrescher
