Spent a lovely weekend in Galveston with some of the best people I know. Happy birthday @rikkialisa 💖 I'm honored to know you. And if I have to be in the dead moms club, I'm glad I have you by my side. by @emileekha

I can't believe it's been 4 years without you, mom. Every day I have moments of overwhelming pain missing you and moments of immense joy knowing you'd be proud.

You were the best mom and grandmother and aunt and sister and daughter and friend. And we all miss you. We are all better for having known you. And we carry your legacy of love.

It's not fair that you're gone. I will never understand or accept it. But I will hold those dear to me closely. You taught me that every moment counts. I love you. by @emileekha
