POSTS STORIES REELS

A shoot with @renelutterus — such an incredible photographer. It’s always a pleasure working with you. The way you capture people and help me see myself through your lens is something special. Thank you for creating magic every time.

And thank you @korjusjenni for makeup and hair — you’ve been my favorite for years. You’re such an amazing woman and a true artist. I love how you never try to just cover people with makeup, but instead bring out who they really are. You make everyone feel beautiful in their own way — and you always make me feel so special🤍 by @emilianiglas

Not everything that happens to you will make sense while you’re going through it.

Sometimes the experiences you wish you could skip become the stories you’re most grateful to have.

Maybe you don’t have to figure everything out right now. Maybe you just have to live it.

This weekend was so beautiful. It is so calming and magical to be surrounded by nature and so many animals. It makes me feel like a little kid again, getting excited about absolutely everything. I love that feeling so much🧚🏼‍♀️

I find this conversation so interesting because I actually love beautiful pictures. I work as a model, I post modelling pictures myself, and I know how much work can go into creating just one image. Sometimes there’s a whole team of people behind it, and I think there’s something really beautiful about that too.

But I also think there’s a difference between admiring something and actually connecting with it.

The more real someone is online, the more I feel like I actually get to know them. And sometimes it’s the completely unplanned, imperfect moments that make me relate to someone the most.

I don’t think beautiful, carefully created content needs to disappear at all. I just think there’s room for both, and maybe we’re starting to appreciate seeing the person behind the pictures a little more.

I’m curious what you think? 🤍

I’ve tried filming my first solo podcast episode twice now, and both times I ended up not posting it because I just wasn’t happy with how it turned out 😭

And I actually got quite disappointed because for some reason I thought I’d just be good at it right away!! I send my friends videos of myself talking all the time, and I even record voice notes as a kind of diary, so I thought sitting down and talking to a camera would be the easiest thing ever.

Turns out it’s not quite the same thing hahaha.

And I think what frustrated me the most was that I wasn’t automatically good at something I was so excited to do. So instead of trying again, I started putting it off.

I realised that sometimes I get so excited about an idea and have such a clear picture of how I want it to turn out that when it doesn’t go that way, I end up avoiding it altogether.

But I really really want to do this, and I think I just need to accept that the first one might not be exactly how I imagined it. I can always get better along the way!!

And I would love your help!! What would you actually be curious to hear me talk about in my first solo episode? It could literally be anything

Don’t get me wrong, I think taking care of yourself is SO important, but I also think sometimes we get so caught up in trying to do everything right that we forget to actually live a little.

Go out, have fun, meet new people, make memories, make mistakes!! You don’t have to have every part of your life perfectly figured out.

I loved hearing Chiara’s take on this because I think there’s definitely a balance.

What do you think? Has self-care gone a little too far?

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how easy it is to convince ourselves we’re just waiting for the right moment, when really we’re scared to start.

Scared we’re not good enough yet, that we’ll get it wrong, or that someone will have something to say about it.

And I think that’s one of the reasons I loved my conversation with Chiara so much. She’s built an audience of millions, but hearing how she had to push through those same fears to get there made me think about how much we can hold ourselves back.

So if there’s something you’ve been wanting to do but keep putting off, I hope this episode gives you that little push to finally start. 🤍

How many things have we talked ourselves out of just because we were worried what someone else might think?

I know I’ve done it, and it’s funny how sometimes we’re the ones standing in our own way.

I loved hearing Chiara talk about how she dealt with that fear, and especially the advice her mum gave her. Sometimes you really do just have to do it anyway, even when you’re scared of being judged.
