2023 has been hectic, to say the least. Spending the first half deliberating between stressing about family affairs and planning the trip in June. June comes along, and I reach peak human happiness, traveling Japan w the love of my life. Snap back to reality (no Eminem) and spend the rest of the year grinding to try and stay afloat through the trying times.

In September, I lost one of the most important people in my life in my grandma who practically raised me and brought me so much joy from being a lil bean to now. She was a ray of sunlight, an angel on earth, and the sweetest candy in the candy shop. Her and my grandpa were inseparable to the last, and I can only strive to make them proud and take the best parts of what made them the best human beings I've ever met. Rollercoaster is an accurate yet cliché way to describe this year, but I've been the happiest I've ever been and also the saddest.

Now, I will mention some things I am grateful for because I really am blessed in many ways. My parents who have fought tooth and nail to provide me and Bev the opportunity to still go through with our trip even through the struggles. My friends who have been a breath of fresh air when I feel like I'm choking on everyday life. I love each and every one of you 💛 I really am spoiled for great friends. My cousins, who are like siblings in the way they love, and like best friends in the way we just seamlessly get along. Lots of special moments this year reconnecting with my cousins from my dad's side and meeting my beautiful niece 💕 my grandparents, who, as they take their exit, provided me with wisdom, endless memories, and love beyond. My sister, who has come out of her comfort zone, her safe space and joined the labor force in order to help the family out.

My girlfriend, who through the thick and thin and the trials and tribulations this year has brought, is ALWAYS my safe space, my consistent dose of dopamine and serotonin, Jesus christ holy shit f me bruh gyat gyat you are fckin amazing I love you so much.

I have a lot, to be honest.
