POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi friends & family, My mom needs some help & we can’t do it alone.

She’s overcome a mountain of health concerns this year. The scariest one being a malignant brain lesion that just disappeared right before her surgery.

Yes, it was no longer on her MRI scans & the neurosurgeon couldn’t believe it either.

We genuinely believe all your thoughts & prayers helped bring this miracle to fruition. She’s recovering steadily but can’t return to work yet.

We believe she’s been given a second chance at life, & we want to try to give her a clean slate. We’re asking for some help with her medical expenses that quickly snowballed this past year.

There’s more details on the GoFund Me page, which is linked in my bio.

Ever contribution, no matter the size, will help give her some breathing room during her recovery. Sharing this post or her story helps more than you think too!

I cannot express my gratitude enough to everyone on this platform. Thank you for any & all prayers, contributions, and shares. ❤️‍🩹 by @emiliothephysio

I understand that not everyone has the time, or even finances, to get things professionally looked at. However, I’d throw some tough love out there and say if you TRULY had no time or money, you wouldn’t be watching this video (I would hope).

My rant for this video is simple - you’re doing yourself a disservice by not taking care of your health, which includes getting professional help when it’s needed.

Don’t be like your typical stubborn “I can do it all myself” man.

See your friendly neighborhood physical therapist today.

P.S.

I do see patients both in-person and online for a variety of conditions and issues. This includes Reiki and energy healing too.

That’s all for now.

Love you.

Creek Talk #6.

I’ve been frequenting the creek and just enjoying the solitude without all the set up and editing.

Here’s the spark notes version of the video (I just aged myself with that reference).

- Meditate & journal for your mental health
- It helps you see the abundance in your life, live in the present moment, and process heavier world events
- I love you guys

Half way through our Sedona contract & here are some highlights:

- Sedona is a vortex whether you believe it or not.
- Winters in AZ are unmatched.
- A concerning ski season, but grateful to be close to mountains & getting some days in.
- Friends on the mountain <3
- Highly recommend looking at the fabric of the universe with your best friend. 🧬
- The AZ rave scene is top tier for PLUR.
- 60% of my diet consists of colorful eggs.

This is going to be a very hard place to leave, so definitely trying to soak it all up while I can.
Excited for the second half. by @emiliothephysio

Thanks Mom for instilling some wisdom in me.

It was always fun to joke about, but in reality these have helped me so much.

Without you, I’d not be the man I am today.

Chasing the next high, ceremony, or breakthrough is often just another form of avoidance.

The real work happens after your big trip.

In the days when you slow down enough to listen, regulate your nervous system, and live what you learned.

Knowledge & Insight without integration is simply philosophy.

Embodiment of those lessons is what makes it real.

TLDR;

You don’t need another podcast, trip, or gospel reading. You need to embody what you already know.

Physical therapy, reiki healing, plant medicines, and living life.

These are the things I want to share with the world. 🫶🏽 by @emiliothephysio

🦶🏽 To be honest, if I had to specialize, I 1000% would choose the foot & ankle.

I have so much fun treating it - it’s really rewarding - and very important if you are a participant in the game of life.

The Sit-to-Rise Test (SRT) is a functional test we use in the clinic to measure overall longevity.

We get a really good snapshot of overall strength, balance, & flexibility.

Instructions:
From standing, try to sit down on the floor and stand back up using as little support/points of contact as possible.

5 points for lowering
5 points for standing
10 points total.

-1 point for each time you use a hand, knee, forearm, or side of your leg to sit or get up.
- 0.5 point if you lose your balance.

A score BELOW 8/10 indicates higher risk of health issues.
0-4 was shown that those participants were 5x more likely to die within 6 years of natural causes.

If you scored low, this isn’t a death sentence. Use it as a wake up call.

The body is SO resilient and WILL adapt to the stressed we impose on it.

AKA, the more you practice this, the better and healthier you will get.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE what I do.

I love treating people 1-on-1, getting to know them, & helping them navigate their injuries in a holistic way.

We just gotta get rid of insurance & corporate entities. That’ll save a lot of PTs from burnout & mental health concerns.

I’m not trying to ruin alcohol for you. Just trying to INFORM.

It’s just another substance and way to alter our reality.

If I do drink, I do it consciously now. Not to fit in, look cool, or numb my discomfort with the situation.
