I’m so sad that this is how the rest of the season looks for these two. Injuries stink, but ones that are season ending are frustrating. by @emillwood

I unexpectedly had to miss a day of work today. @asmill_61 decided (😂) he was going to get the very rare "jersey finger" injury. He's torn a tendon in his finger and will most likely require surgery. We're meeting the surgeon/specialist tomorrow morning. Pray for my dude. But alas, Ill have to miss a half day of work tmw so Im sitting in my car at Jet's cross country practice stapling papers together to drop off my by classroom early in the morning for my students. Ahhh...the life. 🤣 What is it with my two oldest getting injured?

Sidenote: Athletic Trainers have a tough job with parents/coaches wanting to keep their players on the field, but I hope everyone knows how blessed we are with Doc Baker. He's cautious and incredibly knowledgeable. He caught this when some might not have. Andrew might never have been able to bend his finger again. by @emillwood
