One year of loving you💙

One year ago today, my whole world changed forever. The moment I held you in my arms, I knew my heart would never be the same. This year has been filled with so many firsts. Your first smile, your first giggle, your first little steps toward becoming the amazing boy God created you to be. You’ve taught me a new kind of love that is deeper, stronger, and more beautiful than I ever imagined.

I was fearful at first, I can’t lie. I found out I was pregnant with you at 18, I feared what the future was going to look like. I feared, “what if I’m not a good enough mom”, or “what if I can’t provide enough for you.” I would sit there and pray at night for God to stay by me and show me a path. And he did! Trusting in Gods plan is what has gotten me through this journey. I couldn’t be more thankful for being gifted you!

Grayson, you are what helped save me. God knew that I needed you even when I didn’t realize. Truthfully I never saw myself having kids, but God gave me the greatest blessing and I couldn’t imagine living life without you.

I want to start off by thanking everyone who came yesterday to support me on one of the most important days of my life. Your presence means so much to me, and I feel incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so much love and encouragement.

This baptism is more than just a moment; it’s the beginning of a new chapter in my life. Yesterday, I chose to fully surrender my heart to God, trusting in His plan and His love for me. Through the water, I felt a sense of renewal—a letting go of my past and an embrace of the person He is calling me to be.

This journey hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve experienced firsthand the power of God’s grace, mercy, and faithfulness. He has carried me through challenges, and I know He will continue to walk with me every step of the way.

I’m so excited to see where this journey takes me and how I can continue to grow in my faith and serve others. My prayer is that yesterdays decision inspires others to seek God’s love and peace in their own lives. To my family, friends, and spiritual mentors, thank you for helping me get here. Your guidance, prayers, and encouragement have been such a blessing.
