Will never get sick of these views. By how we were both dressed you wouldn’t think that this was July. Was a good temperature during the day to hike up but at the top before sunset I was freezing! Was not expecting it but happy to have multiple layers to warm up in. We didn’t get the sunset colors we were hoping for but regardless, it was awesome to be out! by @emily3iverson

Koda ♥️ Which is your favourite??Just a slight difference between mine and Chads 😂Also Koda is far from being fat. Just fluffy from all his fur and his love for food that I’m sure he would eat everything in sight if he was allowed to. by @emily3iverson

This place will always hold a special place in my heart. I have become very infrequent on here and truthfully have not been on Instagram a ton the last year. I kind of lost motivation to post and to share the things that have been going on. The thought has passed through my mind so many times as well of my content “isn’t good enough.” Comparison is a bitch at times and it has been happening a lot with me for a while now. I feel it’s hard to avoid and difficult to switch the mindset. However, I guess it should be viewed as who cares what we share on our own page and if it isn’t the same “aesthetic” as you usually stick to. So I may start playing around with some different pieces, or I just may stick to the same usual stuff, or I may just continue not to share as much…really keeping it open. I want to say i appreciate those of you who are still hanging around! by @emily3iverson

I can’t believe my boy turns 10 today. It’s one of those moments that doesn’t quite feel real. Time goes by so fast, and this milestone really reminds me of that.I still remember the day I met him—him and his two sisters—and I instantly fell in love. I left the humane society’s viewing day without him, and I remember sitting in the parking lot crying, feeling like I had made the biggest mistake. An hour later, I made the call and officially adopted him.A few days later, I picked him up and brought him home. On the car ride, he puked in his kennel… then ate it. Honestly, it was pretty funny. And somehow, that was the only time he ever had an issue in a vehicle—which is a good thing, considering all the places he’s been since.Over the last 10 years, he’s lived such a full life. The places he’s camped, the summits he’s stood on, the lakes and oceans he’s swam in, the beaches he’s explored, the incredible places he’s napped, the wild zoomies, the long road trips… and so much more.He’s been surrounded by so much love from friends and family, and that makes me happier than anything. He’s incredibly smart, but very goofy, and I’m so happy about that. I’ll be forever grateful for every memory we’ve made and everything we’ve experienced together. I can’t wait for the next years ahead of us to create more memories. Happy 10th birthday, Koda. I love you 🤍 by @emily3iverson
