If anyone needs me I’ll be thinking about this for the rest of my life.

I am BEYOND excited about the success of our historic first New Glenn launch. I started my first job out of college with @blueorigin 10 months ago, and in my time at the company have I lived and breathed this vehicle and this program. I prepared, maintained, and installed all seven BE-4 engines on the first stage, both BE-3Us on the second stage, integrated the first stage’s modules, and helped complete the final launch vehicle. The challenges that came with those tasks were the most difficult but rewarding experiences to be apart of. Being recognized by my leadership for my contributions to this program and then getting to experience the beauty that was first launch has been an experience I will never ever forget. So many sacrifices were made by multiple people for YEARS on this program and it has been an honor to contribute to its time in the spotlight. I am also extremely grateful for the never ending patience and support of my family, friends, and the love of my life. This has been a win for us all and I am blessed to share something so dear to my heart with the world. Your encouragement in the pursuit of my dreams means everything to me. (I promise I will get back to your text messages now).

I cannot believe this is only my beginning. Here’s to more launches, more learning, and building a road to space!

It’s time for my next adventure!

I grew up as a YouTube kid who dreamed of finding a way to combine my love for science and space with my passions in film production and media. I spent a majority of my life being stereotyped and labelled, feeling isolated and unconfident but also refusing to give up on all of my wildest dreams (no matter how unrelated they seemed at face value). When I got the opportunity to compete in @beastgames, it was a chance I knew I had to take. I studied @mrbeast videos, worked out every chance I could, and tried my best to be 100% ready for this experience.

Unfortunately, despite all my efforts, what took me out of the game wasn’t something I could practice for or ever predict.

Leaving hurt in ways I can’t fully put into words. I feared for the family emergency waiting for me back in real life while I mourned leaving behind incredible new friends, a utopian city, the growing momentum of my fight to the final 25, and a $5M dream that could change the way I advocate for other people like me.

Ultimately though, @beastgames helped reiterate to me that you can be smart and strong, competitive and sincere, and calculated and adaptable all without sacrificing one trait for another. That you can be the weird YouTube kid and still be a successful Rocket Scientist, that you can build community and stand for the right thing, that you can chase your dreams and be completely yourself without sacrificing one for the other. You do not have to fit within the label others give to you.

I’m proud of the impact I left on a game I love so deeply, and endlessly grateful to @mysticartpics, @thecastingcollectivela, @seanklitzner, @tylerjconklin, @iweardunlops and the whole team for challenging me every day and giving me the chance to show the world who I am. To show the world you can be both. Thank you for taking the chance on me.

This chapter may have ended early, but my story is far from over. I had the time of my life and I can’t wait to one day finish a dream I finally started 🤍💸
